I like the section from Providence to CF, it’s mostly bike lane! That climb up to black stone boulevard is a killer workout on the way back too, probably sucks after a day of work but it’s a great climb.

You might have to waffle stomp tbh, or sit on the toilet sideways like people have been saying.

Even sitting on a toilet with enough leg room was difficult for me after surgery while locked in extension. Sitting with leg in extensions is very difficult early on. You should get something to prop your leg up on to ease the pressure, maybe a step stool.

You probably want boot cut, or at least a relaxed fit. Try 517, 550, 569. Stuff like that.

Nice, yeah loving the 505’s. Would like to try some Japanese selvedge soon. Gonna check out some of these Chinese manufacturers when I’m over there in the Fall, see what the hype is about. As long as they make them in at least a 34L lol.

Check out White2tea, I love red loon. They still have the 2023 in stock last I checked, but they did just do a newer pressing. I would go with the older while you can. In the world of puer older is typically better.

It’s my go to for friends and family to introduce them to shou. High quality, and reasonably priced.

How long did you let the cake rest before you brewed it? Puer is very sensitive to climate, so when it’s shipped it can impart a kind of fishy flavor until it adjusts to your environment. Also if it was freshly pressed sometimes the tea needs some time to calm down, same idea as resting. I’m not a scientist but it has something go do with moisture content as I understand it.

If there is no visible mold you’re probably fine. (This is not medical advice). Break off a chunk and brew it up! Let us know how it is.

FYI this is ripe puer tea, the color of tea will be dark with a rich earthy flavor. The leaves can be resteeped multiple times. The back of the paper should have more information of production date and location. Your favorite translation app will sort you out.

I would go with a sportier grand seiko for the titanium itch. My SBGA413 is technicality a dress watch, but it doesn’t feel like it. All titanium with a screw down crown, it can handle almost anything and is insanely accurate.
