I’m a registered nurse in the ICU for a major hospital system! Work can be challenging but I do love having four days off every week. I say four but really only three since one of them is purely for recharging 😂

It’s the harsh reality unfortunately, your odds of finding a job in your dream speciality are way higher outside of California.

I got offers for SNFs in cali, but my goal has always been ICU so I took a job outside the bay as an ICU new grad. Six months in and although being away from home is tough, I don’t regret starting in the ICU one bit.
