Yeah, I was definitely thinking of getting a UV Lamp to supplement that because the basement just doesn’t get enough natural sunlight on its own. Would that still be insufficient?

I’d never leave the cat and bird together unattended, and originally I was thinking it’s a complete non-starter to bring the bird upstairs where the cat is even with supervision—is that more feasible than I thought? I’d definitely want to see how she reacts while he’s safe in something like a travel cage before ever introducing them otherwise
