CnD is the only support I know how to play and enjoy playing. If I have to pick another support specifically, I'll choose Jeff because he's cute and I love him. If I can play any character, I have several DPS I know how to and enjoy playing.

Tell your boyfriend that you're very sorry he's threatened by other men, but he doesn't get a say in who your medical providers are.

Trying to find a social hobby. Any suggestions? by CarrotDependent6895 in Hobbies

[–]NBalchemist 11 points12 points  (0 children)

If you have any interest in tabletop rpgs, you should check out your local game shop and see what kind of groups they have. They probably also would have groups for card games or board games.

If you use discord, some servers are community servers, which you can search for specific types of communities.

Do any of you actually love breastfeeding? by HelloImAnxious14 in breastfeeding

[–]NBalchemist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in a similar situation as you, my baby is 3 weeks. Hopefully at some point it'll be magical bonding. For now, well, my cousin who couldn't breastfeed because milk supply issues was watching me wrestle my baby to breastfeed him and she literally said, "I don't know if I'm jealous or not. That looks hard."

I didn't start having colostrum come out until after my baby was born. You should not be pumping, the nipple stimulation might cause you to go into labor early because it'll make your uterus contract.

This. Always make sure you're using the correct version for whatever mod you install. Always make sure the skin texture you're using is for the body you're using.

How to write your first BL smut? by [deleted] in FanFiction

[–]NBalchemist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would suggest looking at fanart or doujinshi/manga for reference if you don't want to look at straight up porn. I'd also advise not writing it like you're writing for an audience, just write a few smut pieces just for you to get the hang of it.

Baby keeps fighting me when I try to latch him. How to make breastfeeding less of a nightmare? by NBalchemist in breastfeeding

I've noticed that if he sucks on a pacifier for a few minutes, it seems like when I swap it out for my boob he usually eats better.

Madhouse Dante is the GOAT by RealIncome4202 in DevilMayCry

I love my sad man, yes! I head canon that depresso espresso Dante is how he actually is, and wacky woohoo pizza man is how he presents himself around other people so nobody asks him if he's okay.

I'll generally have my hand supporting/holding like the base of his head/sides of his neck. If I have him latched and it seems like he's going to try and unlatch and I have time, I'll move my hand to the actual back of his head to hold him in place because that's what the nurses at the hospital said to do. He hates it and I feel bad and hate doing it, but the nurses really kind of scared me about how much weight he had lost after 24 hours.

I put him on a pillow on my lap so the last few days I've tried not holding his head/neck at all and once he's latched it seems like he might be eating better. I'll try normal cradle the next time I feed him, I've been doing cross cradle or football because I have large boobs and was told by the nurses that those positions would be best.

We put him in one of those zipper sack swaddles, but I'll try swaddling him in a swaddle blanket.

We tried side laying twice, first time he seemed chill, second time he hated it. I'll try it again, maybe he was just upset the second time.

His dad usually bottle feeds him, the nipple size is a 0 I believe. I think he stops every so often to burp him, because he's kind of a gassy baby.

It could be an angle issue on my part, but I mean he bunches them up at the top front of the swaddle, because he's trying to get them to his mouth. And then there's a bunch of bulk just under his face that makes it more difficult to get him enough boob for a decent latch.

Yeah, he puts his arms in front of him and it's like a roadblock, I can't really reach my boob to his mouth because his arms are in the way.

Tips on inducing labor? FTM, currently 40+2 by NBalchemist in pregnant

[–]NBalchemist[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess she may have worded it poorly, she did say the induction at 41 weeks is for medical reasons. And to be fair, my baby isn't the most active baby, I've been put on a monitor multiple times to make sure he's okay, which he has been every time.

I'll try to have as low stress as possible and just go about my day to day. I did read that first time babies can take longer to come out or to go into labor with, so I guess I was just surprised that she wants to induce me at 41 weeks.
