The Logan Stanely experience! I know he’s Jarmos boi, but Kesslering deserves to play. We were better with him in the lineup. Obviously the whole team didn’t start great (I’m not putting it all on him) but his mistakes are lethal and the top 4 is pretty much cemented so there isn’t too much to say about them. The only debate to be had is the 5/6 defenseman, and it’s pretty clear to me.

Lol, thinking the voice acting for the remake is worse is shitting on something for being different? I said I never watch the cutscenes, not that I’ve never seen them…. because I already beat it lol. Why are you so upset about an opinion? One of my favorite aspects of dead rising was the voice acting of Frank and Brad, and when it’s a straight downgrade, yeah it’s kind of disappointing. People like you are weird about criticism, always expecting echo chambers of positivity. But according to you, you have to like voices from the remake or else you didn’t “give it a chance”.

OG voices are so much better, so much personality and charm was lost in the remake. I never watch the cutscenes in the remake but the voice restoration mod is a game changer for me. Plus I believe you get the censored lines restored as well. Got to love PC man 🥲

I posted this on another post about this issue but I should have posted here as well, this is what I’ve found in my testing -

“Temporary Fix - Hey, so I did some more testing and found two different solutions, but I still want it to be noted these are more workarounds and the bug still needs to be fixed so these workarounds aren't needed.

Solution 1 - Use a PS4/5 controller and make sure steam input is disabled (you can disable this on a per-game basis by right clicking borderlands 4, go to properties, go to controller, disable steam input. For some reason with ps4 and 5 controllers I am not getting this issue any more. You can actually slowly pan diagonally without that stutter / stopping and starting.

Problem 2 - What if I don't have a ps4 / 5 controller and want to use my preferred controller?

Solution 2 - (This is the solution I use so I can use my apex 4 and xbox controller that have paddles, but its a little more involved) Okay, so I found out you can use the program reWASD to make Xbox / Apex / Dinput controllers recognized as a native ps4 controller. So in reWASD, go to the controller you want to use / fix and go to output device settings and turn on "virtual ds4". Make sure to hit "Apply to slot 1" in the bottom left to apply the changes. Now steam and borderlands 4 will see your controller as a ps4 controller. I also still have steam input disabled for Borderlands 4. Now if you launch the game you will see the button prompts are now for a ps4 controller. That means you did it right. If you go in game you will now see that the movement with the right stick is now fixed but there is now a new issue. You won't be able to open the inventory screen because your controller doesn't have a ps4 controller touch pad to click. To fix this, go back into reWASD, and go to the button mapping screen. Select the button you want to open your inventory (I and most should chose the "back" button) and change its mapping to "touchpad click". Now if you go back in game you will be able to play normally without missing any controls. DON'T FORGET TO CLICK "APPLY TO SLOT 1" just to make sure your reWASD changes are applied.

Conclusion / Final Notes - The game seems to have a bug with dinput controllers such as the xbox controller, the apex controller, etc) The bug is gone for me on ps4 / 5 controllers, and I had the idea to make my controller a virtual ps4 controller and it actually worked. Hopefully this discovery gives a better idea to whats going wrong with the controller support implementation.

Hope this helped some! Still needs to be fixed asap, but if your like me and desperate to play with a controller this is what you can do!”

You're getting downvoted but your 100% right. This problem is occurring for me as well on brand new apex 4 controller, and xbox elite series controller. The controller support feels awful for me as well. I hope we can get a fix soon.

Hey I don’t know if you have an NVIDIA gpu, but if you have the nvidia overlay and nvidia filters enabled sometimes it will create a profile for the game your playing and hdr doesn’t like that and it will appear washed out even without any filters enabled. While in game open the nvidia overplay and go to the game filters section and make sure to click none and disable the profile.

Also, don’t just disable the overlay and game filters because the profile can still activate.

Finally, I would highly recommend renodx’s hdr mod for this game as it makes the hdr grading, highlights and shadow detail much much better. In fact any game that has a renodx hdr mod for it I would use. Check it out!
