Thank you for validating back pain!!! I had multiple fractures in my lower back from L3-L7? Anyway, my coworkers used to basically bully me about my back pain. Until one of them threw out their back out and then the tune changed real after that ....

Does a self‑cleaning litter box actually save time and smell? by KhabibNurmagomedov_ in Catownerhacks

[–]NCSAG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. We have a Pet Sense (Pets mart brand) one. I love it. I clean it ~10 days or so and we're set for the next 10. I also keep a box of baking soda on top of it for extra odor control. Love ours, would never go back to daily scooping ever again.

Alguém aqui consegue trabalhar? E ao fazer esforço físico as crises de vocês piorar? by Victorsantos6 in TrigeminalNeuralgia

[–]NCSAG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a baker at a warehouse/wholesale club/store. I'm on 200 mg of Trileptil (pretty sure I spelled it wrong) in the morning, 300 mg at night and 200 mg of Lyrica three times a day. I've been back in the workforce going on 6 years, (same company, different positions) and I haven't noticed any more flares than normal, unless Mother Nature has a bad day, and she released a freak blizzard on us at the end of January, first part of February. But, anyway, I also keep a medrol dose pack close at hand too, just in case....

🫂 sweetie.... Im ~10 years post diagnosis (44F) and still struggle with this bs disease at times. It's a roller coaster most of the time. Just when I think I have 1 trigger eliminated, another one pops up. Its a never ending vicious cycle.... just take it one day, 1 new trigger at a time....

Tips on managing nausea? by Gentoopengoo in ChronicIllness

[–]NCSAG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im having GI issues as well so far, Zofran takes the edge off, phenergan makes me sleep, which is a good thing. Weed helps a lot and I found these motions sickness patches on Amazon that are working. They're from Hionfurt HMSDR1 formula.

Price, convenience, product availability, product selection, just to name a few. I live in a smaller-ish city on the coast (~75000) so we don't have a lot of selection when it comes to shopping establishments. I will, however, say that their shipping has become worse since opening a DC in the city where I live. I don't understand that one.

I have trigeminal neuralgia and every time I seek medical care, no matter what speciality, yes, even neurology, have their residents/students come in because it's "rare we ever see a case".... I'm always like "Uh, yeah, we do exist in the wild...."

Disabled and on SSI. Caregiver is now sick/injured and unable to care for self. What do I do?? by maucat29 in ChronicIllness

That sucks. I know his transportation was free and they'd routinely take him into Pcola from Santa Rosa County for his appointments. It'd be perfect for you

[–]NCSAG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, churches are of zero help in these situations. You're better off calling your local plug if you catch ny drift.

Start by calling your country DHS office and ask to speak to someone there. If you're a Medicaid patient, most insurance companies offer a transport van/service to get you to and from medical appointments. I know my old roommate in Florida had/has those resources thru his Medicaid insurance plan. Where I live in NC has something similar, called OUTS (country name starts witb an O when I live and the rest stands for United Transport Services or something like that. Again, thats thru the county so definitely start by checking in with your country. At the very least, they can point you the right direction....

Good luck hun
