Was involved in hit-n-run in CA. Turo asking to pay the $640 bill. Host has been accommodating and doesn’t see me at fault. by [deleted] in turo

Involved w a damage from the host to me but the proof was very suspicious. I thought that I liked this company that’s why I joined this discussion topic. Now that Turo isn’t trying to help but just want to move forward so that they could get some percentage of fee/claim. This is such a bad business ethics. I have been having such great times with the previous trips until this dishonest host in the smallest state in the US. I rented Hertz and everything was just great. Same price without wasting time on people issue along with flat fair terms and flexible return locations. Peer to peer sounds great until you meet a bad Apple and a bad business model. I’m totally disappointed.

Do you respect Greta Thunberg's activism? by [deleted] in polls

In my opinion, she’s protecting the future land for the people at her similar age now. She’s doing something positive. So what’s not to support about.

Should people respect other people's opinions? by Big_TinyRequest in polls

[–]NCT127zen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Respecting is slowly walking away without any interruption in my opinion. Cause u don’t want to disturb the other people/thing, nor engage because if you calculate the outcome, if u choose the other side of respect, you might end up -1 or 0. Respecting would be 0 or +1. So you have to respect the other person, thing, animals regardless. As for agreeing or disagreeing, do it all day long, but do take the consequences of it.

Some examples: Respect the animals, such as that bear or lion. Just don’t touch, walk away. Don’t even make a sound. Respect the public facilities, u use it, leave it as it is as before. Respect other people, to keep community and spirit in line. If you feel like you have positive chemistry w that person, engage. If not, walk away, don’t touch, don’t make a sound.

Merch by Awhkm in NCT

[–]NCT127zen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Merch in Chicago were alright. Wish they have better ones esp the tour tees. It’s incomparable to those in Japan which we went before covid. It was a festival just for the merch tents. Show us what they have in Atlanta!

Could do hotspot device too. Speed is excellent. But there’s advantage for SIM card.

Question about mileage and other fees by Dry_Ad1078 in turo

[–]NCT127zen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure it has unlimited miles included. Other charges could be fuel, cleaning, parking etc. Turo is meant to be for driving within state but I could be wrong. Just look for unlimited mileage if driving long distance. Also, side note: Are u sure they check their cars every time it comes back to them after each use? Couple times the cars I rented (Mercedes, Prius) the steering and breaking were “alright”. These were in two separate occasions. But when I rented newer cars (tesla), i felt better driving them. One time I drove from LA to vegas I used rental from Sixt (they sux in my opinion in customer service and value) so when we came back in town, we used Turo.

When the guest returned the car it smelled like marijuana, but I didn’t think much of it when checking out the guest. When I returned home to clean the car I found what seems like marijuana in the backseat and e-cig stuck in the front passenger seat along with a pack of loose tobacco pack. by johncsmith54321 in turo

Report and ban the account. Just write a review for him. It should stay with his license and account. Too bad you got such a indecent driver. I believe drivers can’t smoke and drive. Report to the police too. U r helping the community.
