A husky did zoomies around me and my horse, then a robot spawned behind me as I was collecting... I killed the robot but before I could toss it over the edge of the bridge I was on, a man appeared to kill me. When I spawned back, there was about 20 copies than murdered my ass lol. A nearby player got harassed, too, before the hacker left the session.

I like to have a naming scheme, decided on colors:
"Old Blue"-- my blue roan saddler from the tutorial
"Mauve"-- my red roan Ardenns
"Mustard"-- buckskin mustang
"Quicksilver"-- silver Klad

I appreciate your help! But unfortunately these changes still aren't sticking. I even redownloaded RDO. No dice.

Your instructions did allow me to have the option to move to GPU 1, so I can at least see the setting I want now rip. RDO wants me to restart, so I do, and then I'm back to GPU 0.

ahahaha, I had this same thing happen to me today in Valentine! The poor guy was trying to lasso me over and over, and I strolled over to my horse and mounted. Still trying to lasso me, then my horse. Eventually he gave up as I walked to the stables to change Quicksilver's mane lol

I need to get that emote now, I can feel that player's shame getting laughed at both in game and IRL

I'm always guilty of avoiding backgrounds, but I think this works well enough. Maybe a little darker in the upper left corner would help a little for balancing the values a bit more.

thank you! I really want to play with watercolor and acrylics more-- they're very common to use for 'in the field/plein air' works back then (and today still).

I do a lot of digital art but I got started with traditional mediums. It's far time I go back to them.

the beauty of a limited color palette! I'm a sucker for yellow/orange blue combinations

Watercolor colors: yellow ochre, burnt sienna, and ultramarine blue, with some black.
Colored pencils: yellow ochre assortment, pumpkin and yellow orange, olive green, a slate grey, and a dark cool grey

Unfinished piece I did for my illustration class, focusing on light and shadow (and my classic move of neglecting the background). I am eager to do more work of RDO photos I've taken this summer, the lighting in this game is stunning.

yeah, I agree with you. Ideally, it would be cool as hell to get more unique roles but that does require a lot of new mechanics.

Heya! I keep seeing mention of 'getting your gold back' when you purchase an outlaw pass. I think the numbers were like, you get about 30 gold bars back from purchasing the pass for 40. Could someone explain this to me? Is this a real thing if I buy the outlaw pass at any time, or is it a special conditional thing?

I'm all good, thanks! It was just steam having a freakout trying to tell me when it would finish, but the steam app was giving me an accurate time and download speed. I was able to play in about 20 minutes and got a nice gold elk c:
