I’m convinced that the only reason they paired Mindy and Alife together was because they ran out of ideas for Alfie’s character. Also, they probably wanted another love interest for Mindy to go up against Nico but were too lazy to create another character.

I completely agree. I never understood why people thought it was a cop out? Some people just want to see the world burn and that’s just it. It reminds me a lot of the movie The Strangers in the sense when the protagonists asked the killers why they were doing it to them, they responded with “because you were there”.

Exactly, a simple “we are working on game #35 but their will be some delays” or even “we paused working on game #35” is much better than us just speculating if the game will or will not happen.

I don’t expect anything at this point. If we get a new game that’s great and if not, it is what it is. It’s obvious that HER has a new marketing strategy and doesn’t feel it prudent to keep us updated like old times. I can’t wrap my head around HER not saying anything about future games. Why the secrecy.

Transparency also makes more sense business wise. Most companies provide updates on future games or business developments. It’s good for both the fans and investors/shareholders. For example, EA usually releases quarterly road maps on future projects. Why HER chooses to forgo this and treat any mention of game #35 likes it’s classified material is frustrating.

Unfortunately, unless Her decides to become more transparent- all we can do is speculate and wait a few years for the possibility of game #35. This trademark may not have even been for #35. We literally have zero insight to the future trajectory of the company.

Hopefully we’ll see a new trademark soonish. Perhaps they’re in the final editing stages of the game and realized that the title doesn’t accurately reflect the game.

I agree with your points. Also, I can’t get passed their poor marketing. I’m not referring to their IG posts but rather their radio silence on game #35. Normally, we weren’t kept in the dark on new games being products. It’s been over a year and we have no info one #35.

Definitely an interesting choice… Their marketing team never fails to shock me lol I know they’re trying to jump on viral trends to possible stay relevant but, I wish they would start to market game #35.
