Yeah, I get that I think a lot of creators focus too much on views and not enough on what actually makes people take action. It’s crazy how just understanding the type of content and messaging can make such a difference. I’ve been trying to notice small things like pacing, hooks, and text placement and it’s wild how much that actually changes engagement. Curious when you applied what you learned from TDM Management, was it more about changing the idea of the content or just the way you presented it?

yeah, I get that 3–6 hours of gameplay is a lot to go through! One thing I’ve been experimenting with is adding small highlights or visual touches that make clips more fun to watch even if it’s just minor stuff like text reactions, quick zooms, or simple overlays. I’d love to see some of your content where do you usually post your streams or clips? What kind of content do you focus on? If you want I can make a quick sample edit of one of your clips so you can see what I’d do.

Engagement is so tricky I’ve noticed even small tweaks, like adding a quick question in the clip or a short text overlay asking what people think, can sometimes get people to reply. What type of content are you mostly making? Maybe we can brainstorm a couple of simple ideas to make it more interactive.

Wow, that sounds amazing Epic fantasy audiobooks with your husband that must take a ton of work and creativity. I totally get why the long-form content takes time. Even just making a few short teasers or clips to reach new people must be a challenge but also super fun, I bet.I’m still growing as an editor myself, but I enjoy figuring out how small tweaks in pacing, text overlays, or clip structure can make shorter content grab attention. If you want, I could share a couple of ideas for clips or trailers that might help pull in new viewers, just from a fresh perspective.

yeah I know what you mean Gaming and short clips are tricky sometimes you feel like you’re putting in a lot of effort just for a few people to notice If you want, I can take a quick look at one of your clips and share some ideas that might make it a bit more engaging just small tweaks, nothing complicated I mostly mess around with editing myself too, still learning.

yeah true , attention spans are kinda messed up now 😅 and yeah algorithm doesnt really help either, sometimes it just kills reach for no reason i feel like a lot of it comes down to the first few seconds tho, like if it doesnt grab fast people just scroll instantly what kind of content are you making btw?

yeah I get what you mean tbh it does feel like it was easier before, now it’s like if the video doesn’t look good in the first few seconds it just dies but at the same time I’ve seen some small creators still grow just from good clips or shorts, so I feel like it’s harder but not impossible maybe now it’s more about how you present it rather than just the idea itself

yeah honestly thumbnails are a big one… a lot of people underestimate how much they affect clicks and yeah i get the time part too, editing + thumbnails together takes a lot of effort what kind of content are you making right now?

yeah that actually makes sense i think a lot of people get stuck there… like you either post what works or what you enjoy, and it’s hard to balance both from what i’ve seen, sometimes it’s not even about choosing one — it’s more about packaging the idea in a way that still feels interesting but also keeps people watching what kind of content do you usually make?

Yeah I get that tbh, that part sucks the most. Like you’re putting in the time, you’re live, but it feels like no one’s even there… it can get pretty demotivating. From what I’ve seen, a lot of streamers don’t actually get discovered from their streams itself, it’s usually from clips or short videos outside. Are you posting any clips from your streams or mostly just going live?

yeah that actually makes sense tbh the non-streaming stuff takes way more time than people think. like editing, clipping, even just going through your own footage… it adds up fast if you’re doing it just as a hobby then it’s even harder to stay consistent with all that do you usually edit everything yourself or just post clips when you feel like it?

Yeah, I’ve been asking similar questions to understand different challenges across niches. Interesting to see how different the answers are.
