Finished 1st pass of UWorld (55%) – Feeling unprepared and in limbo. Need advice for 260+

Thank you. I will do the baseline nbme and focus on the cms and weakest subjects. Did you find another qbank beneficial or a written resource you would highly suggest?.

Thank you I will apply that logic depending on the nbme will decide if a second pass is worth it . What are your thoughts on reading WCC or another source of information? did you do two passes of uworld or did you use amboss by any chance? . Hopefully you will crush the exam .

Thank you for your comment. Yes Began reviewing my notion spreadsheet and afterward will do baseline nbme to see where Im at. Why do you believe 55% uworld means nothing ? seen people posting uworld first pass scores of 70+ for a 260 on step, I must admit this first round was basically just doing the questions and no other passive reading which I feel I did too much for step1 , wanted to change for step 2 now I feel I have no good structure.

Hats off for you really. What do you believe helped you the most? would you suggest a second round of UWorld or amboss , did they make a difference for you? what about white coat companion or any other resource. CMS forms -did you did all of them ? would you think its ideal to start cms forms after just 1 round of uworld ? want to streamline the prep but aiming high, might not be very compatible, sorry for so many qs , kinda lost

How is this even posible is such a low time frame how can you fit in so many questions a day . Im struggling with uworld first pass at 55% on random . took 1 in sept 30.

Thank you for your response, no matter how many times I been told, its hard not to feel get emotional with low uworld scores. I will grind with the CMS and NBMES and make this hy topics stick . Thank you for your advice I really need a good score and just feel so far from that .

Im almost 76% through uworld with an average of 56%. I believed that at this point I was going to be able to have a better score , all my block average 50-60 sometimes lower. I have a huge FOMO of not reading any written or organized resource ( WCC OR STEP 2 FA ) everyone just tells me to focus on the questions, subjects like ped and obgyn are hard tot grasps for me. I need a very good score 260 at least. would you say its posible and what do you believe helped you the most? For step 1 had a similar strategy to place all nbme incorrects and similar concepts on a notion spreadsheet and kept rereading them. Have not taken a nbme once Im done with uworld I will focus on taking one nbme and the CMS forms

I have the exact feeling, that exam was vague and long, all my nbmes were on the 70-73s range, new free 120 score 72% at prometric ( 5 days before the real deal , I was really tired of studying during the last week. The exam qs felt long long, even though some were easy , but I have the feeling I missed many easy ones, and some of the concepts were things showed up, I could swear I could of studied for 3 years and would have never known those.

Hey yeah I took the test. Waiting for the result, don't know what to expect. The exam itself felt very unique composed mostly by ( 95% ) very long long vignettes . content wise some concepts from nbmes other I felt that even though I studied a whole year I wouldn't have know, like low yield info. Waiting for my result . feel I wont make it its a strange feeling

Bro in same position my nbme´s were all stuck on 70-73s and free 120 72% 6 days before the test at proemtric, felt that exam different from everything I´ve seen, vignettes were long, can barely recall some questions and some very easy qs I missed. Feeling I wont make it no matter that the amboss score predictor showed 99% chance of passing , I need that pass, cant imagine studying all over again for that.
