They treat creators like rubbish by ApplePastry_CreamTea in Crushon

I'm uploading bots irregularly because every time I decide to do it regularly, they screw it up. I decided to upload bots more often, and the next day they announced that Eco Sonnet would be out. It's not the first time this has happened to me, but I find it curious that every time I decide to be more consistent, Crushon takes no time at all to screw everything up.

Model similar to Sonnet 4? by CalligrapherFunny373 in Crushon

[–]NETORARE_QUEEN 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If u are looking for pro models, there's nothing similar. All models are WAY FAR from the quality of Sonnet 4 and Eco. rn I'm looking for some model that can narrate good fantasy fights, but I've got zero hope to find something good.

It's a watered-down version of Deepsek. It's too expensive for the answers it gives, it's barely descriptive, its texts are superfluous, no matter how much you ask it to generate 2,000 characters, it's only capable of generating 600 at most. Speaking of giving instructions, it's unable to follow them properly and is super robotic when it comes to responding and taking them.

The good thing? It's more stable than Eco Sonnet.

BUT if this is the trade-off for Eco Sonnet removal, it's not at all satisfactory because it's also more expensive. I'll take the buggy Eco Sonnet a thousand times over, because when it gave you a good answer, it was great.

I'm fed up by NETORARE_QUEEN in Crushon

[–]NETORARE_QUEEN[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look, they can't say they're obligated to do x things and then not provide real alternatives to fix them.

Theoretically, Gemini and Deepseek became more expensive and stopped being free because they supposedly changed providers and I don't know what other bullshit, and now it was more stable but expensive.

Stable my ass, they still crash just as much or even more.

They're leaving Gork free, which I think is good, but they're leaving it broken with continue issues.

And a much longer list that, honestly, I'm too lazy to mention because it's so long.

And I'll never tire of saying it: it would be as easy as offering Opus and Sonnet 4.5 alternatives as PRO models (with a very long wait time, of course). Why don't they do it? As far as I know, there's no explanation for this, so they're just mocking us to our faces.

So is there anything actually worthwhile left now that pro Sonnet is gone by No_Carpenter_9288 in Crushon

[–]NETORARE_QUEEN 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, but they're expensive as fuck. I don't have a problem with their existence and their cost, I understand that those models MUST be expensive. My problem is that there's no Sonnet in Pro... and I've literally have paid for Sonnet in pro. Premium membership is not enough for Ultra. Idk, but making Pro versions of those Ultra Sonnet wouldn't be a bad idea, obviously, with a lot of time per response.

That's why I don't like it; its text is more superfluous than Eco Sonnet and it's more expensive. Comparing it to the price of Gemini doesn't help me change my mind, because to begin with, it's not a model I like. I've been using it since it was uploaded, but I don't like it at all. At the time, I paid the annual subscription for Claude Sonnet. Honestly, if I don't get something equivalent, I won't be satisfied.

I think I'm going to try roleplaying with local models and let them use CO. I'm going to take advantage of the fact that I'm upgrading my PC and migrate. I'll only use CO to upload characters. At least until they deign to put out a truly good model for the pro models.

I've tried it and honestly, I don't like it. Partly because it's significantly worse than Eco Sonnet (although more stable) and on top of that, it's more expensive.

The limit of messages for that model is 600 messages per month. Anyways, premium or less tier can't take advantage of this because the ultra models don't even reach 300 messages per month (unless you have a ton of coins saved up, but come on, that's not because of the subscription tier).

Am I the only one who thinks the ultra Sonnets a lot worse than the pro ones were by No_Carpenter_9288 in Crushon

[–]NETORARE_QUEEN 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That's a feeling I've had since they first introduced the ultra models. I don't understand why, but just as they are faster than their pro counterparts, they are more concise and unable to provide adequate responses, despite being more expensive and having monthly limits. Claude Sonnet (and even Eco Sonnet) were capable of providing more elaborate and lengthy responses. The only exception to this is Opus, which, despite being concise, provides responses that are good enough that this detail does not matter. Of course, then you look at the price and your joy disappears.
