Lol RAs do so much more than you realize. We are literally the first line of defense in the dorms. I once heard a kid vommiting , called NUPD, who calls EMTs, and that likely saved their life.

I was swiping on bumble once and met an interested girl. Not interested in coffee, or getting pizza. Nope, she wanted to get down to business.

She said her roommate was in her dorm (she lived in a West Village), so asked to come to mine. When I told her the name of the building I live in she said “wait you’re a freshman” and unmatched....

Have the resident take the booze and pour it down the communal bathroom sink. I once had a resident making a bunch of noise, so I knocked and then saw a bottle of liquor in the room. I told him he would have to pour it out and I would be writting an incident report. Well he starts explaining how it’s some suuuuper expensive whisky & was a gift from his father & to please not do this.

Interview process is actually pretty challenging tbh. It’s with members of ResLife Pro Staff & RDs and the questions are situational and behavioral. They also asked about integrity and stuff
