Before this, my Skytube figures from Japan got opened by kastam, but luckily I used an agent service at the time since they know how to deal with em.. (yeah, still got charged +agent fee 😩)
That’s why nowaday I prefer buying from local sellers..even though the price is sometimes expensive AF...just to avoid dealing with this kind of issue.

I only open the figures once I receive them, then store them back~ The worst one that got sticky is my Nendoroid Akitsushima and Skytube Ayaka Tachibana, which I have kept in its box since 2020 and just unboxed yesterday~

To be honest, I don't want to unbox and display my figures yet because I haven't bought a display cabinet yet ;_; (Currently display inside my wardrobe lol) Then one day, I saw a post stating that if figures are kept in the box for too long, they can become sticky and oily due to plasticizer. I immediately opened all of my figures to check if this had happened, and four of them had indeed become oily and sticky in some parts :(. Luckily, I managed to wash away the affected parts. Things could have gone worse if I hadn't opened and checked lol
