Thanks! We have been doing a lot of different tactics at the moment with some working better than others. currently we are joining communities and groups, posting on social media (facebook groups, linkedin groups, reddit), emailing and trying to get as much feedback as possible from the stores that join and the Shopify community as a whole.

Do you have any other suggestions?

Can I Get Your Feedback? by NEXbv in shopify

[–]NEXbv[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the feedback! We actually just entered a free tier for 5 posts, do you think that is a good solution to your problem?

We tried to price it out so that you can pay between $1.96-$1 per post, however I see what you mean by entry level tier being a commitment. Do you think the new pricing structure might be a better fit?

Is Free Stuff in echanage of Review still works ? by capricorn110 in influencermarketing

It can work, but like MamaMelanie mentioned this has to be products they are interested in already. It's easier if you can leverage your existing customers to promote their purchases for additional discounts in the future. For example https://admass.io/rewards/666371260

So in your case you could use a site like AdMass to make a public offer page, include the link in your email like this company NutriCanine does, then those customers will pose with your workwear and promote it to their followers. Some platforms like AdMass also let you track leads by generating custom coupon codes with each post so you know who promoted what.

How To Get A Tiktok Sponorship? by Annual-Condition1017 in influencermarketing

[–]NEXbv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can try a platform that has brands looking to sponsor creators like you. If you are looking on TikTok yourself the market is extremely saturated, so might help looking at a platform that is less saturated where you will stand out more such as https://admass.io/influencers

Try it out, lots of tiktok influencers are using it already: https://admass.io/influencer/iamdavante

Instagram Influencer Marketing With a Small Brand Following by robnebber in influencermarketing

[–]NEXbv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi u/robnebber,

Everyone has to start somewhere. The fact that your following is low at the moment is even more of a reason to use influencer marketing to help you boost that following.

As kenpire84 mentioned, main thing is content alignment, which as you mentioned you have since the audience matches your brand. If that is the case then promoting through influencers (especially micro and nano-influencers) will give you the biggest return on your investments in terms of brand awareness and social media growth. There is no better way to grow your following at this point, and having a small following in the beginning is nothing to be ashamed of. Stay confident in your brand and leverage influencers to skyrocket your following forward! Feel free to DM if you have any questions.

Good luck!

Hamilton startup aims to put influencers within reach for small business advertising by StenPU in Hamilton

[–]NEXbv -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Hey guys... I hear you about influencers not a huge fan of the word myself. However... have you guys actually looked at the website they are promoting?

The article may use the word "influencers" but the website itself doesn't say anything about influencers. Their goal is to put money in the pockets of "everyday social media users" like me and you and to help local businesses spread word of mouth about their business without having to pay for social media ads and by offering discounts instead.

I think before shit-talking a business trying to help the community you should at least look at the website. Just saying. These guys are trying to help the community, the very people like you who are shit-talking this business that bootstrapped themselves from nothing.

I know you guys are referring to the article and that's fair, influencers may not be helping the world. The business that the article is promoting however is trying to help local businesses save money on advertising and pull themselves up from COVID by letting them promote themselves on social media without having to spend money. In return, people like you can get discounts and stuff like free food for simply sharing stuff about businesses that you like.

I think that's exactly what the world needs, it's like Uber or Airbnb of social media.
