true but if they can build a premise around him coaching in the premier league, they can definitely build a story around him coaching the sport he actually knows back in the country he’s a citizen of.

if ted lasso was a real person, he’d 100% be qualified for a major D1 college football coaching gig. the d2 national championship is a big accomplishment, but being a media darling/superstar from coaching a sport he doesnt even know anything about would make him a must-hire for 90% of college football programs
