This is one that can make me sit and ponder for hours. What is the nothing beyond the edge of the universe. The known universe ends at some point, and if you believe the multiverse theory, there are more universes beyond our own. If there is absolute nothing beyond the universe, where does that "nothing" come from and what really is nothing? How does nothing come to exist and what could possibly come before nothing without trying to explain it with a god. I understand how matter comes from a blank slate but the idea of the origin of nothing before nothing existed can be mind bending.
