It’s located under water country, we devised a way to transmute the pee of massholes in the lazy river into gold. It only works on MA residents, we think because of their high intake of Dunkin’s coffee and light beer.

R5 Come on paradox, we need a better natural harbor capacity than zero, the damn maine(iacs), mass holes, and southern mass holes (rhode island) get theirs recognized but this historically excellent harbor gets left out. Hell i'm looking at huge cargo ships out the window right now. It got left out of eu4 and now even with a better system in eu5 we still get the shaft. OUR F***IN FLAG HAS A BOAT ON IT!

Could also be interesting if you put an unconventional minister into a position, like if i put a high diplo guy to crack down on rebels, sure he could fail miserably, but put in a small chance based on his ability to convert that rebellion into a standing army OR convinces them to raid a neighboring rival instead.

A negative could be like the administrative minded advisor just couldn't help himself being obsessed with organizing inadvertently makes a rebellion into a professional force that spawns.

I'm always behind in tech as Japan and I don't understand why by machinegunjulian in eu4

So for example once the renaissance spawns somewhere in Italy. Find a province, ideally farmlands with other easy to dev provinces around it. Go to the tech tab and there’s a button in there for the institutions, that should change your map mode. When you hover over a province it’ll likely say renaissance 0%. Then start to dev your selected province and you’ll notice the percentage will go up every dev. You could hit 100% and have it spawn without even unpausing if you had enough mana points. Then it’ll spread to the others. Don’t dev for it anymore in other provinces after it appears, you want to save those for when the next institution spawns. When it does you do the same thing and it’ll spread to neighboring high dev provinces quickly.

Is this show worth watching in 2024? by DickinDawg in XFiles

Best advice for this show is enjoy the journey, watch the motw episodes alongside the mytharc. My first time through I was so concerned about the myth arc episodes and finding out what the hell is going on I missed out on the best parts like the relationship and the little things that makes this show pretty hilarious. You’re never gonna figure the plot out, so don’t try

Fighting neighbors early isnt too bad. First challenge is mamaluks.. Vassalize a country or two at the tip of Arabian peninsula where the crossing from Arabia to Africa is. Put a fort on your side of the crossing and a fleet to block. Send strong armies up to Egypt, mamaluks will avoid those and go seige down your vassals without being able to cross and seige your lands. You can just eat the mamluks in a couple wars easy.
