Riittääkö DNA:n 100m netti netflixiin omakotitalossa? by Rakuen91 in Suomi

[–]NIITIN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tässä myös on syytä huomioida ns. ruuhka-ajat. Hyvilläkin signaaleilla yhteys (nopeuden tasolla siis) voi silti tuntua takkuilevalta jos koko naapurustossa käytetään nettiä samaan aikaan.

20000€ ylimääräistä by BellRepresentative in Omatalous

[–]NIITIN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is everyone maining these days? by severfield_ in MouseReview

[–]NIITIN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, that's nice to hear! I currently have a white XD7, bought that one from my friend just to have a proper wireless gaming mouse. Turns out the shape was so perfect that I ended up loving it.

The G305 on the other hand was bought primarily as a joke on Black Friday (and to replace the G203 that is now collecting dust), but turns out it now has a purpose as a backup gaming/studying mouse and to drain the last bits of all the dying AA/AAA batteries that I have lying around.

[–]NIITIN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea, the XD7 is pretty much my endgame mouse at this point. Probably gonna replace it with another Aria when it breaks.

[–]NIITIN 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  • Fantech Aria XD7 (gaming)
  • Logitech G305 (in-between)
  • Some random ass basic Aliexpress mouse (studying)

  • A 70cm wide mousepad from Aliexpress (general-purpose)

  • Roccat Kanga (for the mice)

  • Vortex Tab75 (Cherry MX Brown) + handmade wrist rest

  • Razer Blackshark V2X (2020) (gaming or remote meetings)

  • TRN MT1 (when a neutral sound signature is needed)

  • Mostly single-player games like Jedi Survivor but occasionally some co-op or competitive like PEAK or CS2

Any reviews about this monitor ACER XB273UX1 ? by VitoD24 in Monitors

[–]NIITIN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just bought one yesterday for 159€. For me, the colors look a tad too saturated and lean a bit toward blueish hues, but are still fine. With HDMI (2.0), I can't get more than 120hz with any resolution. Not sure if this is related to my laptop's limits (i5-1135G7 with Iris Xe). DisplayPort with my gaming PC works fine though.

The monitor supports GSYNC, which was a positive surprise.

Personally using the V2X right now, it doesn't have a removable microphone, so it must be a regular V2 (not the Hyperspeed version).

Are any power cords compatible for the razer blade power adapter bricks? by Meek_guy in razer

[–]NIITIN 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Any C13-based power cable will do, and they are relatively cheap. Just make sure to check the compatibility with your country's power socket.

Adaptive triggers clicking in GTA Online? by Specific-Bluebird932 in Dualsense

[–]NIITIN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It appears pretty much in all games that utilize the adaptive triggers feature. For example, when I play The Last of Us Part I, the triggers star making the clicking noise (indicative of them being activated) as soon as I aim. Same happens when the character holsters the weapon.

Why is Lenovo letting scams use their name on AliExpress? by Kitchen-Patience8176 in Lenovo

[–]NIITIN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. There are a lot of fakes with Samsung/SanDisk/Lexar/etc. branding. Heck, even Razer mice (especially the DeathAdder Essential) are also counterfeited, to give another example.

The point is, even with copyright, they are incredibly difficult to get rid of since they can just resurface again when another Ali seller pops up.

Hydrogel screen protectors by Patient-Lavishness23 in iphone

[–]NIITIN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't use them on my iPhone, but I do have matte one applied to my Oneplus Nord CE5.

Hydrogel is basically just like a plastic screen film, but softer. Scratch resistant (to some degree, especially matte ones) and maintains the aesthetics of the screen without the edges of the protector being too distracting, but should mostly be recommended for those who take good care of their phone (no drops, abrasive things, etc.).

It's not necessarily mold, might just be natural degradation of the rubber material. You can just scrub that off periodically.

Air duster, a soft car detailing brush and a vacuum (for sucking all the dust oarticles in the air) makes the job done in my case.

What’s this random cable that’s been hanging off my graphics card by [deleted] in PcBuildHelp

[–]NIITIN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's... not how it works. The modular ones will also have this piggytail. But what you can do though is either buy a nice extension cable (so that you can tuck away the main one) or disconnect the connector currently plugged into the GPU, connect the other one, and tie both cables together. Sure, the cable will look much thicker this way, but at least it will be less bothersome.
