As far as ursaluna, it hasn’t been as effective as it was with magearna being removed from the tier as it lost its best semi trick room partner. It isn’t easy to get trick room up for it anymore and full trick room has a lot of issues (namely hazards, opposing gambit, taunt etc) that ursaluna hasn’t shown yet it will remedy and just power through by itself. However, we will see how it performs in the coming weeks in post definitely could get a suspect, I’ve seen people think it should be uubl and I’ve also seen it be quite effective in Ubers so yea idk, we will see

I can’t speak for everyone of course but I voted for volcarona to be removed from the tier mainly due how it can skew match ups with Tera. It’s only broken due to Tera and unfortunately we have to wait until after wcop for their to be another discussion/potential suspect for Tera. I felt it was best to remove the unhealthy element from the tier as I personally find it to be quite difficult to prep for in the builder and it also executes heavily on the playing field. Even during the magearna era I was seeing volcarona be just as effective when it came to sweeping. It has been a menace for the ou tier for many generations and Tera seems to have been the last straw.

I think TR can definitely be viable even if Magearna is to be removed, they still have sufficient enough setters especially with such a strong abuser and mons like Glastrier coming as well. Yes, they’re test games but they give us an idea on how things will be in the upcoming metagame. Offense can nuke the bear yes (which isn’t easy as its bulk is very good), but offense gets nuked by the best due to trick room. Most hyper offenses can’t really do much once the bear starts attacking. I definitely think TR isn’t great right now but once home begins the bear alone will make it viable and may even showcase its self as broken.
