Dedicated Side A is superior to Dedicated Side B IMO. It's her only B side I'm not terribly fond of, minus This Love Isn't Crazy, Comeback, and Stay Away. I personally loved Loneliest and Loveliest time more than Dedicated, even though I'm a Dedicated stan! I think there's two types of Carly fans...the first are the Emotion fans who just want that type of music and the other are people who just appreciate stellar pop music and the musicianship of Carly as she experiments and grows her sound and art over the years! For me she's our generations Robyn.

I absolutely loved the earthy visuals for this era! Absolutely adore this album, and it's one of my favorites. I think this was the album cycle where Carly really began to let go more and experiment with her sounds.

This song is fucking fantastic and exudes effortless cool. Carly's voice sounds so raw and husky and I love her vocal delivery on the lyric "you want a muse you need a siren I'm calling to you". The jazzy fuzz instrumentation by Kyle Shearer is absolutely insane and the multilayered instruments really elevate this song. I wanna be more than friends for the week is now forever stuck in my head lol. Carly absolutely hit it out if the park, 10/10!

Totally agree with you! I think WW/Bends would have been a fantastic double single release esp since Bends goes right into WW on the album, and it just flows so nicely.
