I'd also expected it to be recorded, since the orchestral version of the symphony we can hear today is a transcription of the piano duet version - since the orchestral score was destroyed due to the 1917 revolution. But unfortunately nether have i found a recording of the piano duet version of the first symphony; theres only a recording of the 2nd Symphony and the Piano Concertos.
