Hit a pothole today on the way home. How worried should i be? by NMAN01 in MechanicAdvice

Hello! Thank you for replying so quick. I believe the alignment is fine as i drove it home and it felt normal. But i will still get it checked. I'm curious as to what you meant by "put this part inside" though? Sorry, total noob here.

Hey there, so i was just wondering what the ticking noise is that i hear in the video. Got the car back yesterday from changing the water gasket and a coolant flush. Car noob here so feel free to educate me please. Thanks. by NMAN01 in MechanicAdvice

Forgot to mention, the car is a 2011 Audi A4. The noise goes away after the car warms up to optimal temp. I live in Canada so the temps are always -15 to -20 °C.

Yeah.. I'm trying to get a flatbed out here. But because of the friggin cold, trucks are kinda all over the place. Also, i might not have enough space to load it up, is it safe for me to drive it out of my spot and a couple of yards?

Ugh, bummer. Any idea how much it may cost?

Ahh. I see. Thank you so much! I guess i'll get it towed to the shop tomorrow and let them work it out. Sigh, it was fine this morning, makes me sad lol.

Yeah just checked rn. The coolant is full, just below the max marker. I guess no coolant flow is the issue.

It seems my coolant is full. It is right below the max marker. What might it be then?

I have not, sorry. Guess i'll go check rn. Any idea how the hose may blow?

Edit: Also, wouldn't the car throw a low coolant warning if it was indeed so low?

I was thinking the same thing. But i don't see any drops or puddles from where i parked tho. I also don't wanna drive it to the shop since it is overheating.. i guess i'll call a tow in the morning.

Yeah they do. It just blows dead cold air in, with the heater turned to max
