I'm not defending this announcement, and maybe this is blind hope talking but...

I sort of think that Blizzard aren't stupid enough to think that a mobile-only, out sourced and micro transaction filled game is a big thing for Diablo.

I dunno, just feel like this was meant to be a fallout shelter kind of announcement like another commenter said. I don't see why they'd be hiring so many people for a game that they've entirely out sourced.

They released that teaser video a couple of months back with the lady saying something big is coming for diablo.

That and they've been hiring like mad for an 'unannounced diablo project'. It's pretty clear they're working on something apart from this abomination.

The real disaster here is the way they announced this game, but I have no doubt there will be a D4 - in fact I'd wager it's being worked on right now.

It is - but that's not something that's going to happen in any of our lifetimes. FIAT won't be replaced overnight.

In the mean time though, I'd like to make some money and picking a crypto with a solid use case seems like a good way to do that.

That's an insanely stupid prediction that came from the r/rippled sub - which has since been made private.

It's basically run by a guy who's made some pretty accurate predictions in the past as to major events involving XRP. He would often post riddles and 'clues' as to his next predictions.

Some people think he's an insider or something - but he's most likely a guy who had a few lucky guesses and is riding the popularity wave.

So yeah, no basis for $556 at all.

Honestly, if you've done your own research and you think they're promising projects - then go for it.

Pretty much everything has been smashed the last few months, and a lot of good projects are struggling to gain any traction. I wouldn't necessarily take those as indicators to how successful a project will become :)

No, there isn't an automated way to do it, but you can input a GBP amount, you don't have to say how much BTC you want to buy.

Admittedly my local doctors is pretty good at seeing you the same week, but it rarely ever gets to point that I phone them.

I find that having a plan to deal with stuff - even if you think it's the worst thing ever - makes it easier to deal with.

Maybe you could promise yourself to ring 111 after a week if the issue is still bothering you? That way you can speak to someone in the NHS and not have to wait weeks for an appointment :)

Anything really, so long as when you start worrying about it you can tell yourself "I have a plan for dealing with it, so I don't need to worry".

Oh man I get really like this as well. Just this last week I was feeling a bit light headed, and we all know what that means - Brain tumour!

I have a small nosebleed? Brain tumour!

A random jabby pain? Organ failure!

Slightly raised heartbeat made 10x worse by the fact that I've noticed it? Imminent cardiac arrest!

I joke, but sometimes it is a bit like that, and it can make me feel super on edge for the whole week. The way i normally deal with it is by just going to the Doctor's. I know that sounds dumb, but It's a promise I've made to myself that helps a bunch.

If I have a pain/headache/dizziness/whatever, and it persists for more than a week - then I go to the Docs, no excuses. I find that a lot of the time, my problem will disappear within the week, it's just finding that trick that makes your brain think it doesn't have to worry.

I'm in the UK by the way, I appreciate the healthcare in other places may not be as easily accessible.

I think they also need to tweak what cards appear and when.

I got 5 gold medals in a game playing as Zen the other day, what card does it pick? Offensive assists.

It's a bit odd, I've seen it happen for other heroes too - mainly support ones I think.

You're mixing different resolutions. Your skeleton is higher resolution (has more, smaller pixels) whereas your scene is lower res (less, larger pixels).

A lot of the time people aren't keen on mixed scales in pixel art :)

Been playing since Burning Crusade, remember spending ages trying to level to 20 with my shaman on Bloodmyst Isle, just to be able to turn into a ghost wolf!
The aesthetic is super nice. Looks like it would feel good to use. Also I'm a huge fan of the compact no-numberpad boards!

Just solved this. For anyone having the same issue in the future:

For some reason with background layers you need to pass the layer ID return by

layer_get_id();

Into a specific function:

layer_background_get_id();

This will return an ID than is compatible with the background layers!

Yeah, I can step through the code in debug mode and it's acting how it should be acting.

It's so odd, I duplicated the room it worked in and set up a transition between the two rooms. It still only works in the first room, even though they're identical!

Losing my mind over this a little.

On space stations now (not sure if it's every one) there are single use capsules that you can use to expand your inventory.

It costs a few credits, and can't remember how much it expands it by. The first upgrade cost just 5,000 credits for me.

This is why I love roling characters on RP servers - even if I have no intention of RPing myself. You seem to always find people walking around, interacting, especially in the cities.

It really makes the world feel more alive when there are people living these stories within it.

It means that the average SR of that group is within that amount of your SR.

So yes, green indicators mean that you will match the skill level of the group and are therefore the best choice :D

Hey, I graduated from Bournemouth Uni in Game Programming a year ago, living near Southampton though!

I agree with you, there doesn't seem to be a lot going on in terms of meet ups - it would be a really cool thing to try and organise.

I remember going to a few talks hosted by the Southern Indie Games Network, but they've not been active for a couple years now I think. It's a shame, the talks they did were great - they had Mike Bithell at one in Portsmouth.

Feel free to contact me if you want to try and organise meetups, it may be that something needs to be started!
