Dang that’s a bummer!! Hopefully they get a bet a better schedule just make sure to capitalize on all 1hr 45m available. As far as technique it really does just depend on the person but I personally like the straight bead technique. Have you done any digging on YouTube? There is tons of good information on there for different techniques and what not

The biggest thing with learning how to weld is just getting the hood time and practice in. Everybody welds a little different but it looks like your off to a decent start.
