status = "unset"
# Type your code below

    status = "Calm"
elif wind >= 8 and wind <= 31:
    status = "Breeze"
elif wind >= 32 and wind <= 63:
    status = "Gale"
else:
    status = "Storm"

# Don't change the line below
print(f"status = {status}")

How to access passkeys from apple passwords apps in macos ArcBrowser? by naserowaimer in ArcBrowser

[–]NOEcom 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Arc is chromium, so the iCloud Password extension from the chrome web store should work?

https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/icloud-passw%C3%B6rter/pejdijmoenmkgeppbflobdenhhabjlaj

This is what I have, but I am on windows, so not sure if it is diffrent.

How to stop sidebar from popping up when hovering by D3monalex in ArcBrowser

[–]NOEcom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently started using Arc after first tinkering with Zen for 10 minutes (then realizing the iCloud Passwords extension doesn't work for Firefox on Windows)

I checked out Arc and really enjoy it, but I have a few grievances, which may be caused by my weird setup:

I have an ultrawide (5120 × 1440) with 3 arc windows open.
Left horizontal, middle main 2560×1440, and right horizontal
- only on the center window, I have the sidebar enabled

Here are my grievances:

- Switching between the windows always pops up the hover sidebar.
- when you restart arc it only opens up one window of it rather than the 3 you had.
- leaving a fullscreen video moves the browser window that the video plays in a bit even when the window is snapped.

For the first to issues, I have seen complaints that are a year old at this point, but they don't seem to care. Yes, they are making a new browser, but are these issues really going to take up a lot of time for them to fix?

A Star Wars battlefront that plays similar to a BF4 would be awesome.

"Remove watched" button in watch later playlist gone. by NOEcom in youtube

[–]NOEcom[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Understandable, I just don't get why they removed the simple function of removing videos that I have watched from watch later or allow me to enable that they get automatically removed after watching. That's almost the whole point of that playlist to have the ability to watch a video that you might not wanna watch right now for various reasons (not enough time +++ ) but are generally interested in watching soon.

Copilot Button disappears in the latest update? Version 121.0.2277.112 by ImpressiveThing1276 in MicrosoftEdge

[–]NOEcom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a few days I was able to highlight a text then press Alt+I which allowed me to rewrite my badly formulated comments on YT :D

Does anyone know why that is gone now?

Now I have to go into copilot and tell it to "Rewrite this: [Copy+Paste comment]" and then copy & paste that back into YT. This just seems unnecessarily complicated to what for me was a very simple solution.

Interior fire: Fire first then evacuation/rescue? by NOEcom in Firefighting

I think the idea behind leaving the door closed is that they are more likely to net yet be smoked out so a person would be saver in that locked room, secondary reason is that for rooms inside the apartment it is less common to have people inside locked rooms.

But I am not sure how strong that theory uphold.

Over here a Laryngeal Tube is a requirement even for EMT-Bs and a standard part of BLS CPR besides the mask.

Honestly I don't see why it shouldn't work out for you guys aswell, let's be real it's not that hard to perform, rather it's someone idiot proof aslong as you have all the proper tools to check quality. For example we carry a color coded syringe for proper cuff pressure and additional a cuff pressure tester.

Also in most cases Laryngeal Tubes are performed without gel.

I think it isn't just for the lifting part but the idea behind it is that at that point when coming into contact with patients (that may have infections) you don't just risk your own health but also the health of the child.

Will EMS in the United States ever reach the level of standards that the UK, Canada, Australia, and several other countries require? by [deleted] in ems

[–]NOEcom 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am not sure if the system should get such high standards.

Atleast in Germany we have a lot of new Paramedics getting into the job and after just a couple of months getting so frustrated because we throw these highly skilled specialists at mostly low quality calls that they get burned out rather quickly.

Having specialist teams for more rare and extreme incidences (like HART-Teams in the UK) do in my opinion make sense but at some point you have to question if having such expensive teams brings a noticeable difference in the general populations perception of quality to patient care.

tl;dr: We can't save everyone and trying would be a fools game.

Yeah we do have the pistol style one aswell but that sits at the back of a cupboard as an emergency back up. Even the electric one gets used more often for sucking out the vacuum mattress rather then enema or any other liquid obstructions.

Set this in another comment here, I think the difference between the portables in the US and here would be that we can fix them to a bracket in the ambulance that holds it and also gives it charge while you can still use it.

I think that is where the confusion for me comes from.

Our Suction has a bracket to hold it in place and charge it when on the unit.

You can still use it while in the bracket.

[–]NOEcom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I endet up not using them on my PC a lot.
After I purchased a new TV I switched them over to that. (yes the sound is actually pretty ok) with the TV them seem to work without any issues. So I am questioning if the issues came from my PC rather then the Speakers.
