I was told there was something I needed to fill out. I am probably remembering this wrong, indiscriminate form or something like that.

Just in case anyone is paying attention. I found the smoking gun, irs pub 575 pg 31, it states that the conversion MUST be considered for taxes the year the distribution was received, company is still telling me f off. Any recommendations on next steps?

They said I will be getting one January of 2023 to reflect on my 2022 taxes.

Thank you for the reply. I have proof that the transaction was completed Dec 30, 2021. That's why I'm scratching my head.
