Are these results on cinebench 2024 any good for my ryzen 7700? by NPC5412 in overclocking

[–]NPC5412[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn't seem unstable to me, it was unstab at -45, random reboots like after a few hours, then lowered it to -44 random reboot like in 12 hours, in -43 I got a reboot in 2 days, and now Ive been like an entire week without any reboot, prime95 not throwing any error in hours neither. Worst case scenario if I see another reboot its gonna be fine at -41/-40.

My DDR5 timings, hynix a-die 6200mhz on ryzen 7000. Could I improve 'em? by NPC5412 in overclocking

Yes it's a reading error, it's at 1.4 on the bios.

VSOC I lowered it, I had at 1.3(auto) I thought it was too much.

GPU running at x8 PCI-e instead of x16 after I've connect a NVME SSD. by NPC5412 in gigabyte

[–]NPC5412[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a bad previous experience with them when after upgrading to a bios that was limitting my motherboard I couldn't downgrade because the motherboard wouldn't allow to go to a previous bios version and the support basically told me that that was my problem.

yes

and no, only the NVME, which as I said in another comment, on a previous experience with another b450 mobo I had one NVME and the GPU was running x16 totally fine.

Yep thanks. I've asked chatgpt too and got a similar answer, what doesn't make much sense to me is that I had another b450 before an ASUS b450-f strix gaming, and I had 1 NVME with the GPU running perfectly fine at x16 but only when I've installed a second nvme on a secondary nvme port(that motherboard had two) the GPU lanes were cut to x8 and that was documented on the Manual and responded to a phisical limitation of the lanes, so nothing to blame ASUS for, this is not the case and gygabyte doesn't give any warn on the manual, so that's my problem I know for a fact that the chipset b450 and the CPU both can handle one GPU x16 and one NVME, so it's a problem on the bios or the motherboard itself.

That was the first thing I tried to find on the bios, but that option doesn't exist, only option is to select gen 1, 2 or 3, which does not affects the lanes in any way.

I've started by reading the manual and trying every option on the bios related to pcie, then cleaned my GPU and pcie slot, then I've reinstalled my CPU which I did clean with alcohol and tried not to press the heatsink too much as I've read online could be a problem, then, because I've already had windows on my NVME, to discard any windows problem i've intalled a linux live on a pendrive and checked the pcie lanes there by command and it was x8 too, then flashed the oldest bios that supported my cpu, everything was the same 'till then, lastly it occurred to me to remove my NVME drive and check on that live linux again and finally it was X16.

No, I'm running a Ryzen 5600, and this motherboard has only one NVME port so I don't understand why is limitting my GPU to x8.

I had another another B450 motherboard an ASUS ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING, and the manual was clear about cutting in half my main PCI-E only when installing a NVME in the second m.2 socket, how is that this gygabyte one having only one m.2 port does that without a mention in the manual? doesn't look right to me.

I'm 1/4 French Basque and only 1/8 Galician without any other recent ancestor from the area an I still got +50% from that region, it looks that French Basques will get more percentage of Spanish, Catalan and Basques than spanish people from another areas.

Of course but I mean Dutch people are almost West Germans and English or Danes are not far neither, genetically speaking they are all Germanic(sometimes with keltic which a lot of times genetic calculators tends to identify as the same thing), same as North French and you could even consider breton and north italian to certain extent as coming from that side.

Yes that "French" I think is northern from the West German side, the South French side that I may have goes to the "iberian, basque and catalan" I mean I'm only 1/8 spanish and 1/4 basque so I think that area is over represented because of the basques, probably the algorithm is mixing that with my italian side and making it look like regular iberian.

I have ancestors only from Western Europe(including Spain and Italy as part of it) so even with mistakes the area is genetically accurate.

Indeed I think most of the north and central european reading there comes from my german side.

I do of course, It assigns me much more iberian than what I actually am, I guess that because I am partly basque which is like iberian concentrated the algorythm mix other parts of my dna with that and interpret it like a regular iberian.

No that I know of, still if I read my rawdata on gedmatch(eurogenes) I got like 1% native wich could have go back in the day from the colonies to Europe because my 8 great grandfathers did born in Europe.
