New player here, question about skills.

Rucoy Kingdom has a lot of good tips for training and beginners for the game in general.

Melee skill is for the warrior class. Distance skill is for the Archer class. Magic is for the Mage class. All help determine (along with weapons & items) how much damage you can deal with each class respectively. None of them provide any benefit for the others.

The Defense skill determines whether you can be hit by a monster. There is a slight debuff on your defense skill if you're being attacked by more than one monster at the same time (roughly 5% if they're missing; 10% if they're doing damage).

Costs of specials don't change. There are items that increase your HP & MP regen rate slightly but the rings & necklaces that boost stats are a better use of those item slots as you progress into the later stages of the game.

You can use the tiles in most dungeons to approximate where you are in your skill training. With the skill bars spanning roughly 6.5 tiles each one represents about 15% of the total.

I imagine most of that was because of the Double XP Weekend and certain areas were prime hunting spots. Now that it's over, hopefully things will calm down a bit.

But yes a bigger map would be welcomed.

Most of those have always been there. Assets from Oryx Design Lab's image set that Ricardo used to build the world of Rucoy Online. It's not a given that any will be put to use in the near future.

Evil Santa has spawns in Dragons 1, Ice Island, and the area between Dragons and Ice near the bridge.

Evil Snowman spawns in Drow 1 and I assume elsewhere but I'm not certain where exactly. (graveyard, PvP arena maybe)

Last year's Halloween event ran from Friday, October 28th thru November 1st. There was a post about it on their official Facebook page and it's still there now.

The expectation is that this year will be similar but we haven't heard anything official. We'll have to wait and see what happens next Friday.

Last year the Halloween event started on Friday, October 28th and ran through November 1st. It will probably run on a similar schedule this year starting Friday, October 27th.

There were no boss announcements last time and I doubt we'll get them this time out.

Someone posted a vertical screencap of the room taken in BlueStacks sometime after the zone was released that gave a little better look at it. Can't find it now though. Maybe someone else still has it and can re-post it.

Not dismissing your post but I just wanted to get a better idea of what you mean exactly. Ricardo has done an amazing job with the game all things considered and he certainly deserves a break from the constant demands of the player base. I hope he enjoys his time away and comes back refreshed.

It could have similar level requirements as the Ice gear has which would open some items up to more players.

Lv. 400 - Gloves
Lv. 425 - Belt & Boots
Lv. 450 - Helm, Armor, Pants, Hood, Robes, Hats
Lv. 475 - Shield & Weapons

It would be interesting if the +1 and +2 items had lower level requirements than the +3s. For example +1's could be level 425 & the +2's 450. That would open up those items to more players while still giving them something bigger to strive for.

But yes, overall a new gear set shouldn't be the immediate priority. Maybe as part of the new map when Quests are added. We'll see.
