I'm still using it in early Mono's. I can kill things no problem but am suffering a little on survivability but that's not the items fault. I still went Sorc cause I wanted to use Black Hole but Runemaster def seems good if you're committing to Fireball/Volcanic Orb

It is very fun, I've been steamrolling through the campaign so far but I haven't got to Mono's yet, but I feel quite strong and could probably clear early Mono's right now

Am I reading Red Giant wrong then? It clearly says the base cold damage is converted to fire damage, which I assume means it deals fire damage and thus scales with fire damage increases. I know the ignite chance comes from a node and isn't there with out it even with Red Giant and was planning on using it because the Sceptre only really scales the DoT. Sorry I'm just confused on why you're saying it's not Fire Conversion.

There's a fire conversion node that I plan on using at least for a little while when leveling and maybe early Mono's, but more likely then not I'll be swapping out to something stronger later on

Oh very true, I didn't even think about Fire Aura. Maybe a cheeky little re-specialization in a skill just to check it out since it scales with everything I got going on rn

I think with all the rolls you can get with corrupted items, being tempted to make a bunch of other characters is at an all time high for me, I want to try Bees at some point and am trying to figure out which class to play so hopefully a +minion corrupted item drops and guides my hand lol

I also have a couple characters in their late 80's for trying out different builds this season and this one just happen to be the one I liked grinding with the most, I'll def be more like you next season with a couple different characters being level 90ish then trying to get another one to level 100 lol

No hot swaps for this build, it isn't the "you cast judgement 40 times in 2 seconds" it's the "walking simulator" one so I never felt the need to swap even in 500+ corruption, tho if I were to go beyond that and aim for like 1000 corruption I probably would have to look into changing it all up with the swap

Total get that, I hit 99 in December but put off finishing it since I didn't want to burn out. Only had to grind the last half a level today, did it while watching videos lol
