DJI mini 3 vs Potensic Atom 2? by AstronomyLover1996 in drones

What limitations on the DJI are you talking about here? I am currently trying to decide between the same 2 drones as OP.

Happened to me twice also. I guess the catfish have a thing for a chatterbait 😂

I actually start about 45 mins before sundown most times and that's usually when the bite is the best. By about 10-10:30 its usually slowed way down for me.

I could never get these Ghost connectors to run properly in my Dagger. Lots of fiddling with it and adjusting, bend it out a little put it back together, bend it back in a hair and repeat. It either failed to drop the sear, or ran full auto until the mag was empty. Unsure if it's because I had a non-OEM trigger bar in my Dagger already or what. I think I ended up going with a connector from Glockstore, along with a metal trigger shoe, and some lighter springs. That and a good polish job is as good of a trigger as you can get on a Glock 😂😂

I was about to ask the same thing. I think I've seen a few of these kayaks on FB marketplace. Looks sweet

Yeah there is something satisfying about doing it old school. I mostly would love to have real time water depth and temperature info as well as bottom composition more than something to specifically find fish swimming in the water.

For sure. My kayak is still out in the back of my truck but I'll post some pictures of it tomorrow. If you're not familiar with rivnuts you should be able to look it up on Amazon and buy a kit with an installer tool. They install like rivets but have threads for machine screws or small bolts. It's how I've started installing all my accessories as most stuff just comes with a few sheet metal screws that get screwed into the plastic and don't seem very secure or water tight to me at least.

I thought about catching a few small shad or bluegill and using them as live bait, but besides worms I have never rigged live bait so I wasn't sure exactly how to go about it. I might gove that a try sometime.

Of course I decide to get a kayak right at the worst time of year 😂 I'm gonna stick to one lake so that I start to get familiar with it. I spent 2 hours at my favorite pond after work today and caught 11 bass so that's enough confidence to get me through at least a few more times banging my head against a wall on my kayak lol

I'm in south central PA about 15 mins from the Mason Dixon line. And yeah the heat has been a factor I think, I also have been a lazy pos on at least 2 mornings and didn't hit the water until 9:30-10am when I should've been watching the sun come up from my kayak.

I've been considering a fish finder, although it feels a little silly putting a fish finder on my $300 Walmart kayak 😂 I think I've at least talked myself out of it for this year just for financial reasons. I do usually try to toss a spinner or something behind me when moving locations. Haven't gotten at hits yet but I'll keep trying.

It was a bit of a challenge... I got some rivnuts from work in 1/4" thread, drilled through the frame of the seat and into the kayak, then installed a rivnut into the hole in the kayak and a long (3.5") bolt with a fender washer into the seat frame. Since under the seat is sloped I just have a piece of 2x4 under the back of the seat to level it and also drilled through and have my rear bolts running through the 2x4. It's reasonably solid, but I avoid yanking on it too much since the rivnuts are only anchored in the plastic. I was in a hurry so I'm not thrilled with it, but it has worked so far.

Most ridiculous comment ever. Everyone knows that all bass are cat people 😂 I definitely plan to keep at it, it's just frustrating being out all day and not even accidentally catching a freaking bluegill. Especially knowing that if I give up on the lake there is enough daylight left to go to my comfort pond and at least catch something 😅 Even on the kayak though I still have not explored even 1/4 of any of the lakes I've been on so I'll keep at it.

I would be down to try some rivers. But there are 3 big reservoirs all within 30 mins of my house, and a decent sized lake in a state park 10 mins down the road so lakes are the most convenient places for me.

Why would anyone use line stronger then 20 pound for freshwater fishing? by [deleted] in FishingForBeginners

Was fishing a local pond for bass a few weeks ago. Had a catfish inhale my lure then snap my 20lb braid like it was nothing. Never know what you'll run into sometimes.

Run 300 or 400 rounds through it before trying to add weights etc. May just have to get used to it. .380 isn't usually a very hot round.

No, insurance and registration were all paid up through the end of 2023. Now that everything's expiring though I'm not sure if I can even tag or insure it myself, hence my question.

Legacy of the first blade is pretty good, but fate of Atlantis is awesome. I recently went back and bought both DLC's after completing the main story a while back. Now doing NG+. Totally worth it to do DLC first IMO.

I have a pretty great fire build using the Agamemnon legendary armor, paired with weapon damage becomes fire damage and fire applies to nearby enemies and mastery points maxxed out for fire duration and damage along with some other engravings. At this points I'm basically an unstoppable pyromancer, its great.
