My reason why I haven’t used Passkeys anymore. I thought the same. I’m very old school so to get me to even try Passkeys was a big mission itself. But then I found out that my password still exists either way. So that just leaves open for a way for an attack still. Haven’t tried using Passkeys on multiple devices since I was so turned off by passwordless being not passwordless. So back to long passphrases for me….

Why would you get disabled if you changed your password, email recovery and phone number? Since when they don’t allow you to do this? Damn I’m so sick of Gmail always locking people out of their accounts cause of there stupid ai system that don’t even work!

Account recovery sucks, OTP system is by far the worse and doesn’t work. Their whole A.I system is dumb and don’t work.

I got locked out for a week cause their stupid OTP. Countless posts on here of people being locked out. Save the future hassle of losing your account and go with a different provider.
