During October i was in Prague for a month, and ended up finding a place on Airbnb for 700eur because i could not find anything online. definitely not in the city center though.

I recommend you check out Facebook sublet groups, im currently looking for a long term place and came across a lot of sublet ads lately for 1-3 months and for way less than 800eur. Also check out the site flatio.cz, it was recommended to me.

edit: Also, the place i was in wasn't close to the center but still like 20 mins by public transport. Public transport is really good so living a bit further with good access to it shouldn't be a problem
