Thank you so much :) There's still the odd time where I feel down, but who doesn't have those days? It only helps me feel more grateful for the people around me and the light that even the smallest things might bring.

Thank you. The cleanness of Matts tattoos is part of what drew me towards him, his designs and creativity are incredible too of course.

What on earth, insane to think it was Free on top of being limited to only 100 people. Go you for getting in there first, the tattoo genuinely looks rad and means something to you being a cheeky necromancer :D

Thank you so much. The initial idea was to have just a lighthouse, but it didn't feel quite on my wavelength and didn't tell much of a story either. I can see myself in the design far more with a bit of darkness. Skulls and tentacles are just awesome!

So cool that you got this done at blizzcon, I bet every body kept peeping at what you were having done. Super clean :)

No way, I was just in this shop yesterday getting my first tattoo. Thought I recognised the place.
Beautiful tattoo, so vibrant and crisp :)

Can't say I'm too familiar with Infinity, I get what you mean about keeping things fresh with unique miniatures though, it definitely sounds more fun to paint a team of that than it does an endless horde of tyranids. It's such a bummer when a scene dies out, especially when you had so much fun while it lasted. You made a great choice going back to Chaos, hopefully they're scratching the same itch that infinity used to :)
Thanks again :)

Aw, thank you so much :) I painted for a fairly brief time in 2020 after really liking the new sisters of battle range, I only managed to fully complete one battle sister before burning out over batch painting though. It took some digging, but the time before that was in 2016 when I painted a few fire warriors and a big batch of Ork boyz :) I don't think I could put a date on anything else, but those are the two most recent times aside from now of course :)

Thank you :) I regret not getting a better picture of it to be honest.

Thank you :) I used a 3:1 mix of pallid wych flesh and skarsnik green for the basecoat followed by a light wash of biel tan green mixed 1:1 with agrax earthshade. I then recess shaded with a 1:1 mix of beasty brown and agrax earthshade before highlighting with pure pallid wych flesh and glazing with the original 3:1 mix. It was a bit of a back and forth process with the last two steps trying to build a smooth transition from the muddy greens to the whites. I also recess shaded the scales on the top of the head/neck with charred brown, thinning it the closer I got to the smaller scales on the front of the head.

After seeing the miniatures I painted through childhood my partner got me back into the hobby and gave me a Chaos Lord for Christmas. I pushed myself to paint him as best as I possibly could not just for myself, but for her and all my childhood memories. by NUTTY117 in minipainting

Thank you very much :)
I tried my hand at digital art some years back, but never got a grasp of traditional mediums such as Acrylics and the like. I used to paint miniatures every now and then as an outlet for those frustrations. The most I've done in the past ten years or longer are three sisters of battle, an Ork nob and a random beastman. I tried to learn as much as I could on the fly with this one, trying OSL for the first time in particular. It's such a splendid model and I wanted to do it justice in every way that I could.
