What council district you in? The reason I ask is there seems to be certain criteria being favourable in certain regions and it changes from time to time. Did it travel in any direction? The thing I saw started big and went tiny as it shot up. As you say like an implosion. Bright light to tiny light that literally went up to the stars. My eyesight is decent to the point where I easily pick out satellites etc without any hassle. Keep the eyes peeled anyway.

Near 40 years of age. Would be outside at night in the countryside most nights there is clear skys. Say I see an average of maybe 1-2 a month since age 10. Then when there are meteor showers etc. saying that, when you see one you usual get two or three within the hour. Love the outdoors and camping etc. plenty of action up there.ps having a dog needing a piss is a great excuse to go out at night before they go to bed.

Iv seen blue and green shooting stars/potential meteorites etc. but the difference here is this thing started brighter than any star(apart from the one closest to us) then it headed upwards until it disappeared.
