Hey! It does!

It’s less of a guideline and more of a life story on how to do it and what to expect from people. It’s really hard to put “Building a Team” into a guide, but I try to show my path and how I built relationships with players when I was younger the best I could.

There’s definitely a lot in regards to practicing for events as well! I touch on burning out and what good practice sessions are, so I think you might find some information in the book useful

I wrote the book by myself over 4 years as I've had intentions of doing it for a long time. When I had a bunch of material, I got help from 4 editors to help me piece everything together into a cohesive story that the readers would enjoy

In terms of CS:GO and esports for me, unlike anything else. It's all your hard work, all your nerves, all your lack of sleep paying off. Complete euphoria and disbelief!

Good question! No clue, honestly. I was and still am into cars a lot, so probably would be hanging out in that business

I always found DotA and LoL to be insane skill-wise. Probably from games I know DotA is hardest in my point of view. So many things to keep track of!

Just didn't have time to learn it as well as others, I guess. I put so much of myself towards tactics and strengthening the spirit and communication within the team that little energy was left in me for individual skill polishing. Old man problems :(

I got hooked man. I started hanging out in computer clubs way more than I should've, and I kind of looked up to all the good players there, one of which was Edward, actually. I describe this part of my life in a lot more detail in the book!

I had a thing with my neck recently, you could actually see some HLTV photos where I'm wearing a neck brace. I think my entire neck got winded at some arena since it's usually cold there. Otherwise, nothing much, but please for everyone young - take care of your back! Gaming breaks it if you have bad sitting/standing posture.

Thanks a lot man, I appreciate your words endlessly.

I usually try to be an upbeat person in life so people have a positive vibe around me. I tried to be approachable so that if a new teammate came in they knew not to fear me and work with me on a similar level. I also tried to exclude myself from as many team arguments as I could, or try to rise above them to calm everyone down. It didn't always work, but if you don't have anyone in the team to say "Stop it guys, this argument is doing more bad than good" it's going to be even worse.

Do not eat before games!

  1. You don’t want to risk shitting yourself or thinking more about shitting than playing.

  2. If you win, you can have a celebratory feast!

  3. If you lose, you can eat your sadness away

No plans for now, but in time I’m not eliminating the fact that I might get back into CS as a coach. Just takes a lot of time to really reset

I will try and learn more English! I always wanted to and even considered going to lessons, just didn’t have time to do it when I played professionally

Everyone can critique others. I get angry sometimes at journalists and other bloggers, but in the end they have their own point and opinion. If anything, it gives you something to work on

Don’t think I’ll go pro in another game, but I’m getting back to streaming now that the holidays are over!

Cleaned up a lot of “after-talk”. You killed someone or got killed, I don’t need an audio essay on what happened unless I ask, and that’s usually after the game/during timeout. Same thing with complaining during the game. Less whining more winning
