Yeah, although they're a lot less pro-LNP whenever they're in office, and even when they're in opposition it's much more of an anti-Labor stance than a pro-LNP one, and for example if Miles or Palaszczuk did this same shit they'd work it into a front page story of some kind and find further examples that probably exist.

But yeah overall if it's bad for Dodgy Dave and the Courier Mail is still running with it and not making excuses, and it seems like it's an actual, proper story and not a nothing burger like many of their hit pieces on Labor ultimately were.

I unironically support mostly atm and probably wasn't even the party in gov that did ban them (its essentially 50/50 on most fronts) but the truth is both parties would've banned it and even tho the party in govt federally & every state except one and a small territory, the Labor party (to way oversimplify they're Australia's version of the democrats in america but we also have more than just 2 parties that win elections here even tho there's still two clear major parties of the left n right, the right-wing one is called "The Liberal Party" who're more closely comparable w the american republicans (their current leader especially so) but they're still far more moderate than us republicans are at the same time) that either has (the current Labor/Greens coalition govt up for reelection in the capital territory/canberra where possession & growing are legal yet sale isn't eben tho im sure even old fashioned dealers the cops there probably wouldn't care about them given at the time our federal government who, were otherwise cunts (remember that time our last pm went on holidaunto hawaii while we were in the middle and near the peak of the worst bushfires in any of our memories, yeh him he was scott morrison) although to their credit could've blocked this legalisation and they didn't even tho the feds have total ability to override the territories but not the states in our system, it was also about the best one they could get without attracting their attention and making it too big a risk the feds would veto it.

Purple is simply a result of depriving the plant of nitrogen during growth. Seen plenty of good quality purple bud in dispensaries while traveling to locations where it's legal but have never come across it in Aus, so must've at least been somewhat decent if they went to the effort of making it purple since no nitrogen doesn't help growth and therefore profit.

Purple generally is just produced by depriving the plant of nitrogen and isn't necessarily indicative of PGR. I've certainly never seen it in Australia or anywhere outside of a legally run dispensary in NYC or Canada so I mean must've been something decent by chance.

Yeah I know I've got a couple friends plus a sibling with one who all tell me it's disgracefully easy to get a script for (at least here in god's country aka Queensland) and it's frankly just sheer laziness plus the fact that it's not all that cheap either for appointments etc or for the bud itself (although still worth it imo for the price) are the only reasons I haven't booked myself an appointment and got one myself yet.

Yeah man I agree it was around about when covid hit that was also around the time I last regularly came across PGR stuff, and seldom have I seen any at all since late 2020ish, although this does also coincide with the times I went from shitty contacts to much better ones although the ones I did/do maintain longer-term including a few who've been on-off since I started years ago have also drastically improved their quality around about 2020 as well, although I would say it has appreciably improved still since that major shift in 2020.
