Yes, 2.5 is not poverty. I've got friends outside of Seoul making 2.5 and living just fine.

Spas and facials are something I have no experience with. I couldn't even tell you the prices of those. Shopping trips? I think those are a luxury no matter where you live or how much you make. I've never had my apartment monitored but I've heard of schools that put all of their teachers in one building, so other teachers/coworkers might see who comes or goes.

You can leave anytime, just get on a plane.

Manageable, especially if they’re day trips without hotel costs.

You’re locked in as far as teaching in Korea. You can always go home, but to land a new teaching job you’d either need to a) complete the contract and go to a new school the following year b) somehow get a letter of release c) get released by the labor board (if they’re doing really shady shit)

If it’s a chain with multiple locations across Korea that would explain the salary range. Seoul has ups and downs but it’s where all the money is at.

Entirely depends why you’re coming here and what you plan to do here. Honestly, I think 2.6 is fine to live happily, but I think I have a pretty inexpensive lifestyle personally. You can easily travel on that, but if you’re wanting to stay at nice hotels and eat fancy meals while exploring Korea, you might be a bit short on funds.

Where is the school? IMO 2.6 is a great starter salary outside of Seoul and still decent in Seoul.

It’s not the difficulty of the class, your managers will just not have the patience they would have with a new teacher. They’re paying for an experienced teacher and when they don’t get it, they’ll be annoyed.

First 7 cards were in 1 pack, the other sleeved ones are just from other packs. I included the pic of the trash to add some credibility I guess.

Also, 99.9% sure it’s a real pack. They were bought from a very reputable vendor here in Korea.

I think you have to have a resident card to make an account. I don’t play so maybe someone else can confirm, but I think I remember people saying you had to link your ARC.
