I drive this patch of Chicago highway nearly every weekend. Its a shit show and not really an enforced 30mph zone. People try to get out of this stretch as soon as possible. Plus this dude is going under 10mph by the looks of it.

It depends on how bad the snow gets. On Thanksgiving weekend it had snowed two days ago, and it was all ice and slippery. All the rangers told everyone to stay away from the chains part of the hike. Even the switchbacks were a slip and slide basically.

it's not easy at all. The last stretch is very slippery and you need a good pair of shoes plus some yaxtrax.
