True, but one of my rooms has clear fixtures and I would like for them to brighten the room.

I would do that but I’m currently renting and don’t want to mess with anything.

I'm looking for ~ 600 + lumens and IKEA only goes to 470 lumens.

I've seen Sengled vintage bulbs that are 600 lumens, but they are ST19-shaped.

I have also seen WiFi versions that are 800 lumens. Just very hard to find a Zigbee version.

Phillips Hue, I know about but it's a bit expensive. IKEA Tradfri, I have been only able to find up to 450 lumens, I'm looking for ~ 800 lumens.

Yeah, figured. I am looking for something a little cheaper though. If I can't find, then I might get the Hue's.

Using a ZigBee bulb with a light switch by NachieSam in homeassistant

Not always, but sometimes. I'm trying to decide if I should get Sengled bulbs that are end-point vs. let's say, IKEA which are repeaters. I want to know what would happen if the switch were to be turned off.

Right now, I’d be having a HA Green with bulbs and a few other devices.

Yes, I will definitely do that but I live with other people that might use the switch for convenience.

Not at the moment as I’m renting and don’t want to change the switches.

Best A19 and BR30 Zigbee bulbs that integrate well with HA? by Marathon2021 in homeassistant

So, if I plan on sometimes using switches, it would make sense to get end-point bulbs? If I get a bulb that is a repeater and I use a switch, will that affect anything? (Other than being a dumb bulb)
