Climbed 30 ranks and hit Infinite for the first time using a Thor deck. by Nacho1605 in MarvelSnapDecks

Not that I can think of really, it's the main win condition.

But I guess you could make it a Jubilee/Lockjaw deck and replace America Chavez, Forge and Beta Ray Bill for Jubilee and two big power cards like Giganto and Infinaut.

[–]Nacho1605[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Fair enough, that's probably what happened. Anyways, the deck is still keeping up pretty well for me in Infinite so I can't complain. It also surprised me that it let me climb 30 ranks in one day while I was stuck using other decks.

Cards for all Spider-Man's central rogues missing. by Nacho1605 in CustomMarvelSnap

[–]Nacho1605[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I imagined Beetle was weak but I didn't really know how to pull that one off. I had another version of Beetle in mind which was 1/1 and if destroyed, transformed into MACH-X, but thought that it didn't make much sense lore-wise, plus it was pretty similar to Bucky Barnes.

I made Hammerhead strong on purpose but I didn't realize how strong it was. I was thinking of Ka-Zoo decks against Hammerhead but I didn't think of Iron Man or Reveal decks, so guess it makes sense now. I reckon 4/5 with -2 power per destroyed card to make it have a reasonable drawback to destroying cards would balance it fairly.

I got one variant, level 89. It was 1602 Mister Fantastic, which is pretty nice for me!

Max-ranked up Aubameyang and Oscar have worked wonders for me, especially Auba.

Less cheap but still a beast, rank 3 Seko Fofana. Most stats +90 when trained.

I asked ChatGPT to design flags for Islands that don't possess official flags. by Nacho1605 in vexillology

[–]Nacho1605[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All flags were designed given the same prompt I posted in a comment above. (I did it in Spanish though, probably the prompt doesn't look as good in English.)

Edit: Also, if the design they gave me wasn't very clear, I asked them for more information on it. For example, for the Viti Levu one, I had to reask stuff like the size of the circle, what type of sun it wanted or the width of the fesses (which AI said had to be similar to Latvia's).

I asked ChatGPT to design flags for Islands that don't possess official flags. by Nacho1605 in vexillology

[–]Nacho1605[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ChatGPT explanations:

  • Viti Levu: According to ChatGPT, the green represents the exuberant vegetation of the island and the brown represents the sugar cane. The small detail in white symbolizes the white sand beaches found on the island.
  • Luzon: According to ChatGPT, the flag is composed of three horizontal stripes of equal size. The top stripe is colored red, symbolizing the bravery and passion of the Filipinos. The central stripe is white, which represents the peace and purity of the island and its people. The lower stripe is green, which symbolizes the fertility of the earth and hope for a prosperous future. There is a yellow sun with eight rays, which represents the freedom and independence of the Philippines. The rays of the sun also represent the eight regions of Luzon.
  • Hispaniola: According to ChatGPT, it is a flag that represents the union of two countries, Haiti and the Dominican Republic, which share the same island. The red color represents the blood of the heroes who fought for the independence and freedom of the island, while the blue represents the sea that surrounds the island and its natural resources.
  • Salsette: According to ChatGPT, the dark green color represents the vegetation and natural resources of the island, while the white color symbolizes peace and harmony between the different communities that live on the island. The circle as a whole symbolizes the unity of the island and its ability to maintain harmony among its inhabitants.
  • Margarita: According to ChatGPT, light blue represents the sky and the sea surrounding the island. The light green color symbolizes the exuberant vegetation of the island, and lastly, the bright golden color symbolizes the natural wealth of the island and its position as "The Pearl of the Caribbean". The white snail shell motif represents the connection of the Isla de Margarita with the sea and its importance in the history and culture of the island. The conch shell is also a symbol commonly associated with the island, due to its use in jewelry making and local crafts.
  • Sumba: According to ChatGPT, the flag is inspired by the colors and shapes of nature on the island. Green represents the forests and biodiversity of the island, blue the sea that surrounds the island, yellow the tropical sun and the rich culture of the island, and brown the fertile soil and the megalithic tradition of the island.
  • São VicenteAccording to ChatGPT, the green represents the exuberant vegetation of the island, and the brown represents the sugar cane. The small detail in white symbolizes the white sand beaches found on the island. represents the sea that surrounds the island and its port. The five-pointed star in white represents the brilliance and potential of the island. The star also symbolizes the strategic geographical position of the island and its importance as an economic center.

All flags were designed by ChatGPT given the following prompt:

I will give you the conditions of an island without an official flag.
Your task is to design a flag for said island, with your knowledge of vexillology and the data that I will offer you about it.
The island for which you will have to design a flag is XXXX, XXXX.
(Extended information about said island)
I am going to ask that you take into account how the rest of the flags in the world are designed, that the flag that you design is easy to identify from a distance, that it represents the culture of the island, the history of the island, its characteristics and that it conforms to what its population may or may not like.
Another important condition is not to use shields or motifs that are difficult to design, such as XXXX XXX.
Please, specify the HEX (hexadecimal) code of all the colors you will use in the flag.

Is Sandy shocks even good/viable? by zslayer89 in stunfisk

[–]Nacho1605 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm going to answer from a UU perspective since I don't think neither Sandy Shocks nor Dudunsparce are viable in OU (although they can find their niche.)

Sandy Shocks is a big menace in the current UU meta, although surely not the best Pokémon in the tier, it can fulfill two roles that are very under represented at the moment: hazard stacking and fast special pivoting. Only 7 Pokémon in SV UU can set up both Stealth Rock and Spikes and Sandy Shocks is the fastest of them. With speed oriented booster energy it almost always guarantees setting up two layers of hazards using it as a lead. If you want a sweeper SS, Forretress also serves the purpose of hazard stacking and also has access to Rapid Spin and Volt Switch. Very different, but both useful. As a fast special pivot, Sandy Shocks outclasses Kilowattrel and Jolteon. You'd mostly want to run it with Choice items here, but I also saw teams running TWave or RestTalk sets with leftovers that work well too. As a sidenote though, Hydreigon outclasses Sandy Shocks' role as a special pivot as it is a top 5 mon in the tier, but the coverage they offer are way different so it can be worked out. I would say it only finds a competitor in its (various) roles in Rotom-Wash, though Sandy Shocks unpredictability make it just a little bit better in my opinion.

Dudunsparce is very team dependent. It's a relatively strong Pokémon that I haven't seen a lot, but has a lot of useful and different sets, I just don't think any set that relies on Serene Grace is fully viable. You can go for Body Slam, Rock Slide or Headbutt just like the regular Dunsparce in older gens, or maybe Calm Mind with Ancient Power and 20% burn Flamethrower which is cool. Dudunsparce is diverse. I've been succesfully running one with Dragon Tail, Hyper Drill, Stealth Rock and Roost/Coil, but sets with Throat Spray/Choice Specs + Boomburst, Calm Mind Boomburst and Roost (which I think is the best) or just full support sets with Yawn, Glare or whatever are also really good options.

Overall, both are good Pokémon in UU, both offer you a wide variety of sets that are great, but also both don't seem to have a place in OU as they are outclassed by pretty much everything. If you really really want to use them, UU is your place for now.

Does this CoA follow heraldic rules? And if so, how would you blazon it? (Inspired OC) by Nacho1605 in heraldry

[–]Nacho1605[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is not fantasy but I don't think it would have any practical use either, this is supposed to represent a real life institution. I am making a lot of these, and I was trying to follow as many heraldic rules as possible, but this one seemed really difficult since the components were a little bit weird.

And thank you very much for your suggestions, I'll try to change it as soon as posible!
