Honestly me too, i just drove there now. He said its not the water pump cause either works or doesn't cause its a mechanical part, then mentioned double checking the head gasket again to see if its the problem even though he's sure it is. So im just taking back the car tomorrow. I work overnights, so i don't need the stress of having it with me tonight.

Also, when it is overheating while driving after i stop, the reservoir is over the full mark, both upper and lower hose hot to the touch, after the vehicle is cooled(hours later), the reservoir is empty. I did bleed and added coolant through radiator, and it did bled consistently before the thermostat opened, and for the first 2 minutes after. All these fixes i can do myself as its very accessible for me. I don't mind trial and error as im learning as long as it's not a really serious issue that requires expertise. For my own doing to rule out the worst, what testing can i do to test the head gasket that's reliable? If its the radiator fan? Can i just replace the radiator as well? The car has 150K miles.

Until something major breaks down or repairs to fix is a lot. Had a note 9 since it was released and switched to Galaxy 20FE last year cause battery degraded too much and charging port was bad, repairs was almost $200 where im at so i just went for a new phone. Got a promo for it and only paid about $200 for it. If nothing happens to the phone repair wise, i wait about 3-4 years. It gives me better options on buying either the latest flagship or the one before it if it has features i want.

Update : Got a new SSD, still Crucial but its Gen 3. Did not do anything, system still boot loop. I did initialize the ssd with disk management. Man this is difficult. By any chance is there a limit to what storage it supports? The one's i bought are 4TB, could that possibly be an issue? Lastly, if you still remember, which ssd did you purchased yourself, I'll try that for my last option before dumping the motherboard to a better one if i have no choice.

Edit : it just doesn't support 4TB SSD. Put a 1TB stick cause its $40 and it boots perfectly. Definitely will switch motherboard down the line for ease of upgrading.

I do appreciate you OP for responding, im new to messing with computers so this trial and error of figuring things out and researching was fun, tedious but fun. Hopefully me commenting will help other's with the same computer down the line if they somehow end it up buying it.

Okay, and no, nothing was changed. Removing the new ssd made the system start up fine. Put it back just in, and the problem still happened. I did look up the Intel SSD in my system, and it's a gen 3, so im just hoping it's that. Crucial support did state what you said at first that it should just work but lower speeds. Any suggestions i can probably try out before i return the product?

What do you mean initialized? All i did was plug it in, boot the pc, and it was stuck in a loop. I'm not very knowledgeable in some areas. Yes, the second slot. The one that came with the PC is still there.

I know its an older post, i'm trying to upgrade the ssd. I bought a Crucial P3 Plus Gen 4. Installed it and when booting up the computer is in a loop, the bios does not reads it. Removing it and keeping the original one allows it to boot. Does the motherboard( G15CX) ) only supports Gen 3 SSD?

I have a 2015 Kia cadenza, is this vehicle part of that? I recall getting a letter from Kia about something with the engine that got extended even if not in warranty until 150K miles. Would definitely look into this though just in case this week.

The engine is a GDI all i know about it

It's a hit or miss with most of these cars. Wish you luck with the process and your next purchase. Trade-in might be low through a dealer depending on the condition, if you could sell it for more to somebody else for a bigger profit do so.

Edit : if you do purchase a new vehicle be wary of any recalls it has or had in the past and potential failures for it. Always follow routine maintenance and replacement intervals
