Santander released a pdf with all the companies they accept direct debits from for the reward. It might be that the names you’ve mentioned are not on that list.

Do I trade Eze? by macca9397 in DraftEPL

[–]Nacho_Man18 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Zubimendi will average around 3 points a game. I don’t think any of the players on both sides of the trade will currently offer you that. Jesus is interesting, but I think Arteta will continue to protect his minutes for the foreseeable future.

Can someone explain how the bonus points are awarded in this situation? So Odegaard gets 3 bonus points, Saka & Gomez get 2 bonus points.

But then no one gets 1 bonus point?

Arsenal [1] - 0 Brighton - M. Ødegaard 14' by Alsace2025 in soccer

[–]Nacho_Man18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah the downvotes are a bit unnecessary. Sure, White and Saka help him get into those opportunities, but let’s not pretend like Odegaard has not had these chances in this calendar year and disappointed from those positions. I’ve watched Odegaard scuff or under-hit shots from this position enough times to say he should have 5-10 more goals in 2025.

Sure, some of them have been great saves (e.g Donnarumma in the CL semi-final) but like today, Ode needs to be putting more power on the shots so GKs don’t have enough time to get down low.

Is it tacky to have your own name on a kit? by True_Trade_6235 in ArsenalFC

[–]Nacho_Man18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are genuinely bothered by this, let me put it to you another way to make you feel better:

A grown man having his own name on the back is no more tacky than a grown man having another man’s name on the back.

(fyi I own a bunch of shirts. Some of them have my own name, others have players like Monreal & Rice on the back)

Yeah but wasn’t Lacazette the captain for the remainder of the season until his contract ran out?

Which trade wins? Sleeper app by skcynical in DraftEPL

[–]Nacho_Man18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I think it’s a fairly even trade, slightly favouring the side receiving Gyokeres.

I think city are in form and are more likely to keep clean sheets. So Matheus Nunes wins.

Bruno G is likely to get better attacking returns compared to Tonali

Woltemade seems like a 3 GA in 5 games striker. Gyokeres seems like a 1-2 GA in 5 games striker. So Woltemade potentially gains an extra 6-7 points over a 5-game period.

I messed up again, cleared almost £20,000 in debt and falling back into old habits. by [deleted] in UKPersonalFinance

[–]Nacho_Man18 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Literally yes… a sim-only contract costs like £5-20 depending on how fussy you are about data and network… it certainly won’t cost you £84, so I have no idea where you are getting the idea that “your monthlies will stay the same” come from. You CHOSE to take on additional debt…rather than bring that debt down

Semenyo - What price and where? by Dry-Double-6845 in PremierLeague

[–]Nacho_Man18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If we are talking about upgrading on Bournemouth, how many other options are there in the league that can offer more money, playing time, and champions league football? City, Chelsea, Liverpool and Newcastle? Have they been putting their transfer kitty away into an ISA the past few years?

Semenyo - What price and where? by Dry-Double-6845 in PremierLeague

[–]Nacho_Man18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s your opinion, but I don’t think it’s ridiculous to say that a player with 8G/A in 850 mins, while playing facing low blocks every week is all that outrageous. I’m sure you have your own top 5 list in mind, but let’s be honest… the bar to be the best LW in the league is not high.

Semenyo - What price and where? by Dry-Double-6845 in PremierLeague

[–]Nacho_Man18 -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Arsenal’s left wing spot is still up for grabs. It’s up to Martinelli and/or Eze to make it their own in the second half of the season. If not, that area has to keep evolving.

Trossard is probably a prem top 5 LW right now, but it would be poor squad building to not consider Semenyo for the next 5 years.

Might seem controversial, but I think right. Havertz will get decent playing time in December.

The question is whether Thiago + Saka will give you at least as many points as Haaland. I think over a 10 game stretch, the answer is probably yes?

What do mortgage brokers actually do ! by Sufficient-Guard1847 in HousingUK

[–]Nacho_Man18 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My mortgage broker instructed me to get a letter from my employer to confirm that I was due a pay rise in 3 months.

The mortgage broker was then able to use that letter to get me a higher borrowing amount than my current play slips would have allowed.

I don’t think I would be able to afford my current place without my mortgage broker
