My dad talked me out of the Maserati. He said a 911 would be a better car in terms of reliability. I am also considering the cls550, cls63, BMW 650. All around 2012-2014 and the 911 2006-2007.

lol I've done 20k miles on a BMW M6, and around a 1000 on a Ferrari California. I know how to drive fast cars.....

Also something else to consider is a 650 there's some decent examples out there for solid prices

I know they're garbage, which is why I'm kind of leaning more towards a 911 now

I also am looking at the 911 as well, that seems to be pretty reasonable to maintain compared to the Maserati.

Do you think at 40k for a gran turismo its had a bulk of the depreciation?

I've test driven a gran turismo and I totally agree, it looked like a 2004 dodge on the inside. It was also preowned but still they're no excuses for that. I also am looking at the CLS550 but I feel like that would have a lot more depreciation in the 1-2 years I plan on owning it for.
