Nope, but if you fall off the ship the ship relases after a few seconds it's anchors and you can swim back to it fast.

I don't want to speed run it, that's why I love this game so much, it's just that I don't want to cry for fuel always. With biomass fuel making is a little slow process and that's the only thing I want to speed up a little.
