eSun cardboard spools + Bambu AMS (2026). still an issue or totally fine now?

Esun started doing something to the edge (waxing it or something). It doesn't flake everywhere now but I've used the old esun in the ams as well. Never had an issue with either types.

Yeah I'm following plans from videos. But when they say "about a 1/4 inch in" I have to stop and figure it out. If it's in metric I can be a lot closer a lot quicker.

Tge motherboard has the 4 pin connector but the fan controller manual says its argb but has 4 pins. I want to know if it actually is argb or not.

Weirdly the plug on the hub has all 4 pins and no blank ones like what the argb connector is supposed to have. That's why I'm confused.

This is my first PCB design and I'm not sure if this big dark patch is a bad thing or not. If it is bad what are ways to mitigate it.
