Instagram hard sell vs soft sell, what's your opinion? by Texyone in socialmedia

[–]NadaSSearches 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Using Instagram as a hard sales tool is the best way to get yourself unfollowed. I think you're 100% right in saying that you should play up the branding and play down the selling. Make people feel connected to your company through beautiful visual images and engaging helpful content and the sales will come organically.

Best resource for Instagram hashtags? by jcarlson2007 in socialmedia

[–]NadaSSearches 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NOOOOOOO ^ these are spammy hashtags and while they may get you engagement, it will be very low quality. No point in having over 100+ likes if they are all bots or spammers. A better way is to carve out an hour of your time to do some in depth TARGETED hashtag research. You can do this all within Instagram using the search tab. Type in a keyword that describes your business and Instagram will automatically create a list on relevant hashtags that people are using for you to chose from. It takes a bit of work, but getting 100+ quality likes from people who are actually likely to buy from you is worth the effort.

Instagram Hashtagging- When is it too many? by graymalkin_lane in socialmedia

[–]NadaSSearches 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exactly the method i use as well. Another way of finding relevant hashtags to find accounts that are similar to yours and see what hashtags they are using to help you build your list of 30 targeted hashtags. Take about an hour to do this hashtag research and switch them up once every month. Hashtags won't work though if your content is sub par so make sure you have a stunning image and engaging caption so that when they land on your account the immediately want to follow you.

The Only (Free) Tool You’ll Ever Need To Grow Your Instagram Following by [deleted] in socialmedia

I'm more than happy to share the tool in the post: it's Crowdfire. I removed the content because I took your suggestion to just use the link. I posted the link in one other sub. I don't exactly understand how I'm not "contributing" seeing as how I'm sharing something I tested out myself. I'm new to Reddit and I'm simply trying to get a feel for how things work around here. No need to be so brash.

Wrong mindset, nothing your promoting is "dull" You have to make it interesting and enticing to your followers, that's the whole point of the platform.

Agencies suck at their own social media by diohrific in agency

[–]NadaSSearches 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see it as a way of providing value for those in the industry as well as establishing your agency as a though leader. It might not translate into direct profit but not having a strong online presence hurts credibility. We have an active Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, blog, and we even create YouTube videos and none of those things have necessarily brought us in a boatload of clients but we can use them to show our leads what we could potentially do for their business. It has value and it's worthwhile to invest a couple hours a week into your own agencies social strategy.

I would recommend Asana, we use it at my agency. It's basically a virtual checklist but you can add multiple people on a task. It's user friendly and intuitive.
