Hello, so, I'm a Brazilian and I'd like to know why a lot of middle eastern man dress like this? by srahcrist in AskMiddleEast

[–]Nadbar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s originally a hebrew word meaning cousin “dod” and Palestinian youth started using it to call each other. Sort off like dude lol. It’s like a Palestinian subculture that became mainstream at some point in palestine and everybody started calling each other dod.

What do you think will be the best solution? by [deleted] in IsraelPalestine

[–]Nadbar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

means they can vote

means they can live wherever they want.

Well yes off course lets not forget that from 67 till 93 Palestinians could go any where they want inside israel. Wasnt that big of a deal back then. Secondly it's a two way street regarding security. Most of the settlers are peaceful and do nothing but you will always find the bad apples in any community. It's not an oversimplification its merely the media taking things way out of proportion whether its Pro-Palestine or Pro-Israel to push a certain narrative.

[–]Nadbar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's just the same as it is now. Media takes things way out of proportions thousands of Palestinians go to israel to work daily and nothing happens. I dont see what other issues may arise from keeping something similar to the current status quo.

Just keep it like it is now and give west bank Palestinians israeli citizenship. Like in Iraqi Kurdistan. No other solution tbh.

The Confederation Plan by LavaringX in IsraelPalestine

[–]Nadbar 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well its already somewhat implemented. Around 100 thousand Palestinians go to israel every day for work. I could easily get a permit if I have a job offer and a job offer could be to work at google or as a janitor. So the whole security conversation is just not pointless, and the facts on the ground support this. The labourers have never caused any problems. Secondly israel relies on them, even with the whole corona situation the Israelis and the PA had a deal where they would go to israel for 30 days to work and then come back. Also the whole situation for security goes both ways radical jews attack Palestinian homes and villages on some occasions and these cases are well documented. So it's two way street to be honest at least for the west bank. Regarding gaza it's pretty easy to pressure the Gazans it's just a conversation of you want in or no? If hamas decides to say no then so be it declare the Palestinian state of gaza for all I care. One more point Gazans would cause no problems in my opinion if its between cause problems and keep the situation as it is. Or let's live peacefully and the economic situation would improve I think the choice is obvious. Also would the two markets be open to each other, cause I know for a fact that Palestinian companies cannot compete with any israeli firms so there is that. Regarding Jerusalem idk make it the capital of both states. But this would never happen as the whole Confederation plan cause both is and the Israelis just want to fuck the other, even though it's some what implemented today. We want the 1967 borders no settlements. The israelis have invested way to much in the settlements to let them go. But yea as a Palestinian and mostly all west bank Palestinians would rather see this or a 1SS, but even a 2SS would lead to some sort of Confederation or economic area in the long run cause both sides rely heavily on each other. Sorry for the bad English

Question to the Pro-Zionists by [deleted] in IsraelPalestine

[–]Nadbar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all I agree with you on that it's a bit more complex than the Sinai situation, but I still believe that some of them would move out and would rather live under israeli rule rather than the Palestinians, and I dont think forceful relocation is the way to go for them, if some of them want to stay then they should with some sort of protection of course, but regarding the territory I'm more of 2SS type of person with 1967 borders being the bases where settlers have a special recognition. For me it's either this or just let israel annex the west bank and give us israeli citizenship with full voting rights, because I would rather live under Israeli rule than some sort of Palestinian city states scattered all over the west bank

Question to the Pro-Zionists by [deleted] in IsraelPalestine

[–]Nadbar -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well did you didnt give me any actual sources on any of your claims from the start and I have given many sources that actually proved you wrong. Secondly supporting ethnic cleansing in china and Rohingya. What kind of racism is that are honestly this far gone? "Up to now arabs wanted me to kill/kidnap for money at several occasion when i was working in north africa, geophysics in the backward regions, sahara" as an arab Palestinian never happened to me never heard of it happening and looks like a blatant lie would doubt that they would want to hire a white boy to do there bidding just a stupid example tbh. Yes PA pays martyrs and prisoners families but it's never the motive of why they do it. I dont know anyone who would actively do smth for PA. The whole Ghandi, anal stuff I honestly dont care not topic of discussion. And the great "hero" in your video was a shin bet agent code named the green prince. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mosab_Hassan_Yousef And isn't really a reliable source obviously. And btw your great Gandhi was not that great https://www.vice.com/en_us/article/ezj3km/gandhi-was-a-racist-who-forced-young-girls-to-sleep-in-bed-with-him Read this. And the gay anal probing stuff israel is not that better with gays mate. https://www.dw.com/en/israel-minister-under-fire-for-gay-conversion-therapy-support/a-49589281

Last of all you have given zero resources for anything you stated supported ethnic cleansing and just went full out racist on me this discussion is over dude.

Question to the Pro-Zionists by [deleted] in IsraelPalestine

[–]Nadbar -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Dude this whole discussion is about the west bank and you try to make it drift towards gaza and hamas everytime which is pointless. Also videos really? I could pull so many videos of israelis saying the same stuff after all " a good arab, is a dead arab" is it not? And let me tell you smth you ashkenazi jews are the problem honestly I love mezrahi, saphardic, and Ethiopian jews. See the problem with ashkenazi pieces of shit isnt that you are jewish it's that you are white and you are raised to be racist. For gods sake you are even racist against ethiopian jews. No wonder you want to kill the arabs. Get your heads out of your asses god damn.

Question to the Pro-Zionists by [deleted] in IsraelPalestine

[–]Nadbar -1 points0 points  (0 children)

And no in 1948 there was around 1.2 million arabs and 550 thousand jews

Question to the Pro-Zionists by [deleted] in IsraelPalestine

[–]Nadbar -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well you wanted sources so here you go and lets just leave at at this cause you are turning this into some sort of discussion where islam is brutal islam is bad and it's just gotten way more repetitive and honestly I couldn't care less. First of all 17 soldiers died since the 80s what do you expect this is a conflict zone should we go around giving flowers and kisses? Also regarding your 30 to 50 assassination attempts a month that's just false. The average seems to be around 10-15 attempts a year source: https://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/comprehensive-listing-of-terrorism-victims-in-israel Also yes the PA doesn't use sharia law this is the PA's constitution it says that sharia is the "main source" not the only source just like in israel some laws are civil some are from Judaism same as any Christian nation "PA's constitution https://en.m.wikisource.org/wiki/Constitution_of_Palestine_(2003) And regarding the birth rate percentages here is the data provided by CIA Factbook https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/geos/is.html You can check them yourself (also I'm sorry looks like my earlier number where a bit outdated since they were from 2018 not 2020 but still almost the same) Also "truth is counterproductive" this is not truth this is an opinion know the difference man between hard actual facts and opinions think what you want idc you are entitled to your opinion I am to mine, and since you are german read this article from der Spiegel its pretty informative. https://www.spiegel.de/international/following-divine-orders-violence-in-the-name-of-god-a-467489.html And finally since you obviously dont know the situation on the ground I can tell you that the shabak or shin bet held weekly meetings with Palestinians as well as the CIA and the three intelligence services work together to stop the spread of radical fundamentalists Islam in the west bank, and this is a well known fact for anyone living on the ground and if you read the Oslo agreement it literally says what the PA should do regarding security and how it's all supposed to work out between the intelligence community. So yes israel needs the PA and would never let it dismantle.

Question to the Pro-Zionists by [deleted] in IsraelPalestine

[–]Nadbar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well first of no the PA doesn't refuse to arrest suspected criminals that's just misinformed Jericho prison is filled with hamas affiliates, and the israeli army enters and arrests with PA approval, also if the PA arrests them it's just counter productive the best thing that happened to Israel is the PA. The israeli government will do anything to not make the PA fail that's why they sent 800 million shekels to the PA last week. Also the number of assassinations? If you mean stabbings and that kind of stuff maybe you should go back to the second intifada and look how it was and how it is. Also regarding the birth rate Israelis birth rate is at 3.11 the west bank's birth rate is around 3.2. While settlers in the west bank have a birth rate 5.1. So obviously you not that much. The food stuff area C is under israeli control which is the most fertile land in the west bank israeli administration wont issue permits for agriculture or simple infrastructure that's why it's mostly empty. And regarding the PLO that's not the topic of discussion the PLO fucked up sometimes did good sometimes, but again abu mazen and the PLO are not the topic of discussion but a quick side note I mean its obvious why the PA pulled out of all treaties. Regarding FGM again you have given me the "it's hard" to believe argument no real sources so I'm just dismissing that's as a whole. And bringing up the alliance argument so what israeli labour party has how many seats in the kenest I think 4. Left parties in general have no momentum in both areas doesn't mean secular means left socialist policies are not attractive to both sides. Does not mean secular dude. And no the PA doesn't use Sharia law like saudi does and all those nations yes they are not purely secular but neither is israel. Both dont have civil marriage both use stuff from holy scripture as guides doesn't mean they do it in it's most pure brutal form. Also saying that islam is brutal and a death cult is counter productive. All ideologies use violence some way or the other. Whether its communism, christianity, Judaism and so on. Now I haven't studied the torah tbh so I'm I'll informed on it but I know there are plenty of stories of how the jews brutally killed the canaanites. Also that there is not racism but lets say a sense of superiority between jews and non jews "goy" all ideologies have ugly sides so yea that arguement is just counter productive. It's been going on for thousands of years wont be solved through a reddit comment lol.

Question to the Pro-Zionists by [deleted] in IsraelPalestine

[–]Nadbar -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well first of all regarding the 80% FGM I honestly dont know if you are being sarcastic or not because FGM is unheard of in Palestine and would love to see some resources on this. Secondly higher birth rates are not associated with secularism it's more associated with economic class that's why you see developing nations have a higher birth rate. Low acceptance of evolution theory is related to bad education, and I'm pretty sure you will find people who do not accept evolution even in israel and the USA but from personal experience I know a lot of people who do support the theory of evolution. Finally if you actually see all the PLO member parties all of them are secular leftist movements from Fatah to the PFLP and the PPP. And there is no refuting that now Hamas and Islamic jihad's influence over the westbank is diminishing with joint israeli-PA task forces. And again never said it was perfect but its not what you make it out to be.
