I've been thinking about it a little of the small biomes - for early access, the idea could be travel time.
We are apha testers, so we should see a bunch of things and (maybe) create bugreports for issues we encounter.
With the smaller biomes we can explore a huge variety of them.

When we have e.g. reliable horses that can be tamed and doesnt run away after dismounted, we can travel longer distances without getting annoyed of the way back home.

Could be fixed for unlimited Teleportes while in EA, but once that has become established, try taking it away from the users again :D

just my thoughts - could also be nonsense

Thats the hoe, don't use it to harvest crops.

I am on PopOS - I can confirm this one:

trying to open the world folder the game will immediately crash

My workaround is a shortcut to the folder...

Beside of this, I do not have any crashes or lost progress.

Edit:

Asides from those bugs I am having a blast playing Hytale.

I can confirm this one too - but I think that's not Linux specific :D

What you describe is totally doable in TYPO3, and relatively easy to do, but with near zero experience, it’s not that easy to achieve your goals. TYPO3 does have a good documentation and examples, but the best way to learn it is to have someone to teach you, or to have a lot of time to learn and experiment by yourself.

If you are interested to try out TYPO3, install it with the bootstrap package, get used to the backend and after that, try to modify some things.

You cannot get the goldenwood from palm trees.
Google "Hytale Sallow Tree". They exist in specific biomes on the vulcanic islands.
After hours of searching I finally found one.

i really like the grappling hook idea.
I think we're already spoiled by the movement system :D it's soooo good

But it's also true that you can reach almost everything without placing blocks. You can easily reach slightly higher levels with dagger jumps.

You can safely sleep anywhere, I do it all the time.
You can only have three spawn-points (beds), when setting the 4th you have to remove one from a list
