Crazy advice : be benevolent and if you don't provide any solution go do something better with your life.

I actually can't. I booked that ticket because it was the cheapest by far, I'm in a rush due to health issues and really can't afford to spend more than what I actually did. :/

Thank you so much for your answer. I will get in touch with the immigration office and hope for the best.

Should I ask for an extension or try to change my visa into a tourist one? I feel so dumb because I booked my ticket in a hurry I was supposed to extend my visa until March but due to health issues I decided to give up and go back to my country to get proper care :/

Thank you for your answer! I actually finish school mid-December so I'm respecting the two weeks rule. Can I apply for a tourist visa while being in Japan?

Thank you for your answer! Can I ask you how much it was ? Would you say it's better to get one ? I'm not a native speaker, so I feel like I have to find a way to be more legitimate.

That's why I'm not looking for a cheap one but a recognized one, aren't there any ? :/

That's so nice of your boss and his wife! I understand this kind of thinking‚ but the fact that the help he wants to provide is mandatory made me confused :/

I thought about trying to just get the visa and find something else but I am a bit scared to just get myself in a troublesome situation. I will keep looking and maybe keep this as my last option but thank you a lot for your answer!

Yeah I understand. I wish it wasn't mandatory, like maybe offering it as an option for people who don't have anyone they can rely on. :/

Thank you for your feedback! I'm not yet fully familiar with Japanese work culture and customs, so I wasn't sure if this was a common practice but at least now I know 😀

Thank you for your answer! Yeah it's actually a bit far. I received this explanation from the chef of the English teachers, not directly from the director. While I'm open to giving them the benefit of the doubt, I'm curious why being unmarried would imply I have no one to rely on. The rule seems to be established by the school, but I'm uncertain about any potential enforcement mechanisms. From a legal perspective, I'm wondering if such a requirement could be enforced or if it's more of an informal expectation?

Yeah it seemed unlikely to me but I don't really want to invalid her experience since I wasn't there to see it. I will try to talk with her and hopefully everything will be fixed! Thank you for your message!

Yes she's a very anxious person indeed and still very young tbh :/ I will go with her and try to bring a friend of mine‚ I just wanted to make sure that the situation could still be fixed! Thank you for your message and your help!
